Since the mxdn are going to be at Thunder Valley, why not bench race a little. Nobodys been talking about it.

USA (MX1/Open Choices)
Ryan Dungey - MX1
Andrew Short - Open (Really consistant and would be a good rider, especially since MXDN will be at Thunder Valley, pretty much his hometown race, my guess for the Open class rider)
Josh Grant - wouldn't put him on a mxdn team, not really a rider that represents america well and isn't consistant enough to rely on a mxdn victory.
Mike Alessi - unless he comes out and starts winning again, I wouldn't want him to be on the mxdn team with his results as of late.
James Stewart - is he ever gonna come out and race?
USA (MX2 Choices)
Justin Barcia, Wil Hahn, Broc Tickle, Trey Canard, Jake Weimer

My early prediction
MX1 - Ryan Dungey
MX2 - Jake Weimer
MX3 - Andrew Short

mx1: Dungey
Mx2: RV he will be riding in August so that gives him a month to prepare
mx3: Bubba, said to be riding soon. If not Short, home track.

If the point is to win you send your best. There is no question that that is our best.

For you guys I reckon a solid team would be

MX1 - Dungey

MX2 - Canard

MX3 - RV if he's healthy, Short if not.

With that lot there would be a whole lot of thanking "the big man above" up on the podium.......

GBR

MX1 - Simpson
MX2 - Wilson
MX3 - Anderson

Doubt searle will make it through the nationals in one piece.

MX1- Void Main, quick out the gate, very consistent.
MX2- Big Lenny, will get the other teams confused and they will take themselves out
MX3- Flarider, will wear down the competition until, they just plain give up... or die

Either you are an idiot or do not realize that RV won three straight lites mx championships, is still under 23 and is way faster than anyone else we have to ride the mx2 class. Again if the idea is to win, you send your best no matter what class they normally ride.

Ah k. Give one of your boys a shot then I reckon. It's either them or Gibbs, just have to see how Gibbsy goes for the rest of the mx nats. Dale crashes too much.

Matt left Aus with lites titles in a row, Gibbs and Dale dont have a first one yet, Larson smokes it. and Matt doesn't seem as fast as Jake since his arrival in the usa, maybe a lot quicker on a lites bike though

True. I'm just thinking what the selectors would do? Would they put him back down on a mx2 bike? I have no doubt that Matt is probably Australia's fastest lites rider and he would be my pick for sure.

Wonder if the Yank selectors are looking at Larsen? Seems to have awesome speed and consistency...

Why would Yank selectors be looking at Larsen. PJ's Australian now, isn't he?

Why? they should both be healthy by then, according to them. Sometimes I wonder about intelligence level around here.

I think Barcia would be a better pick for the mx2 class. He has shown he is faster than Weimer outdoors. No disrespect for Weimer but for outdoors we should go with Barcia.

You guys would best send Dungey, Tedesco and Whichever guy goes best in the lites from USA... IT has done it before and rips at Colorado... This is assuming RV's miraculous healing leg isn't so

BTW....team USA....I'd go with Dungey , Short and Canard. RV would be a great pick.....but that's not enough time for him to get back into the swing of things.

When has he shown that?!?!

Last I counted Jake has won 3 outdoors, Barcia one... In fact, watch Colorado last year...
