I guess maybe I should throw out older plastics, but for some reason I keep them around “Just in Case”
They take up tons of room. They don’t really fit in the Home Depot storage bins. I was thinking of wiring them together and maybe hang them?
Any ideas?
I just bin them up in my loft above my garage….My wife can deal with it when I drop dead…fact: the only time you will ever need one of the old plastics is 1 week after you toss them in garbage…
It’s a process for sure. I know I don’t need them but so hard to let go
I bag mine up in the bags that the new plastics come in. Then try stack them in a way that doesn't take up too much room. I store a lot of my plastics inside my spare tyres which works well!
Kinda like the random cuts of 2x4s I can’t bring myself to throw out.

Don’t even get me started.
And mine just turn into perpetual wheel chocks for light auto repair in the driveway!
Speaking to the OP, I used to save them but now they immediately go in the recycle bin. I'll never need them again so I just cut my ties immediately.
I actually got rid of a few last week building a workbench. Good enough to chop up and make extra support slats for under the work top.
