As a kid growing up and racing in the early to mid 80's in Ohio, I remember Jeremy Buell rolling into Honda Hills with a DMC KX80. The thing was a masterpiece. Seeing it person (after reading about it in magazines) was amazing. I was fortunate enough to own one of his creations (much later in life) when I bought a CR85 big wheel converted over to run an XR100 engine. It looked like it was a factory fabricated frame. I have big regrets on selling that thing....

All us 50-year-olds remember DMC made works 80cc rockets. Those images formed what we realized was possible. His work was very instrumental for MX bike design...
