If he gets a bad start, he rides around in the same position for 5 laps with guys who are way slower than him and then blows by everyone. If he gets a good start he just goes backwards it seems like and then catches back up to some of the riders. It is so weird how he can't find a way to just put laps down early.

Reed is not a make it happen guy. He takes what is offered and settles. If enough riders get hurt his strategy works.

Can´t believe people jump to conclusions so easily. "should have done this, should have done that", pfft. MOST of the time, there is more to it then brand name etc. Reed doesn´t settle for anything but 1st. I´m sure Reed will prove everyone once again how tough he is

WHEN has Reed settled for anything but the best? He expects to win, and is the first person to hate himself for not doing it!

Reed is financially secure with family, not hungry anymore and just putting in appearances. Semi retired, healthy would be a better term..kudos to him..soak it for whats it´s worth

you must of missed SX two yrs ago. Reed needed to beat Stewart ONCE in the last 7 rounds and FAILED. When the chips are down and Reed has to do it on his own he FAILS. I am not saying he can't win this outdoor title but If Dungey and Alessi don't get hurt I say he won't beat those two.

That's exactly my point though. He is obviously one of the baddest dudes out there but these holes that he digs for himself..
