honda cr 250 1994 crank case wanted

The left side case is getting very hard to source, You may end up buying a complete engine to get the case. I went throughbthis about 5-7 years ago, I was able to find a nice case 1/2 off ebay. Whatever you do make sure you match the case to your existing rhs case, 92-2001 are interchangeable but the cylinder base heights did vary.

This search will be a lot like dating, you'll start off with high standards, but here soon, you'll settle for whatever you can find..

In all seriousness though, I just went through the same thing and ended up buying a donor bike to srouce the parts i needed. you can find them on ebay occasionally, but the non damaged, non repaired ones are getting pricey$$$

Tom Morgan can repair damaged cases to a high degree of  quality. I have a LHS case 1/2 that cracked along the clutch lifter rod area from a locked up transmission/ broken gear. Tom said he could repair the case but needs the full bottom end internals to make sure nothing binds during/ after repairs. As these cases become more scarce, repairability options increase…. I may just send it in to Tom and let him repair it the next time someone send him a CR250 bottom to rebuild….
