Hello guys, it’s been a year since i bought my 2024 yz 450f and i am absolutely in love with this bike. BUT!!! it is time to replace the rod. i was searching in the internet for 23-24 yz450 rods but couldn’t find any aftermarket parts (unfortunately i don’t have an opportunity to buy oem parts). so here is my question: do 20-22 rods fit 23-25 yz 450f? i know that they have different part number in catalog but if there is no aftermarket parts for such a popular bike as new yz is after 2 years of production, is there a possibility that old rod fits?
P. S. i know that the engine is all new but at this point i just have no choice.
Thanks for your answers in advance!!
The 2022 rod is a different part number than 2023+. However, If you can find a connecting rod for a 2023 model it is the same rod as a 2024, although I see you mentioned having issues finding a connecting rod for a 2023.
i know that part number is different but i can’t find any rods for 23-25 models in europe
crankworks inc has 23+ rods. Not on their site yet but they posted on their socials that they have them

I think OP is in Russia, so might be an issue getting anything from the US shipped there. I could be wrong though.
true, the only possible way to get parts here is to order them from europe (illegally lol). the war sucks
Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully you'll get some responses from your side of the pond. There has to be some connecting rods over there somewhere.
Edit: does this help you at all? Not sure if Yamaha pulled out of Russia, but it does show some dealerships over there.

thanks🙏🏻
23-25 YZ 450 went to a plain bearing lower rod bearing so rod is different than the previous Gen bike.
