Alessi's whole program seems to be based around the holeshot. Without the start he appears to not be able to focus and charge because he is contantly looking over his shoulder. Holeshots have been harder to come by with the 350 so far. He likely would have run 9th in that moto if Cunningham and Hahn had not fallen down and given those positions back to him.
