Greatest SX Races?

Seattle 08 comes to mind as one of the best Sx races. With all the drama and lead changes it was awesome. 1st redd crashes in 1st turn.. Then KW has to stop to pull the tough block. Then there was Reeds charge through the pack and Shorty's t-bone on Reed the last lap which lead to all the team tactic accusations. I've been to probably 30+ SX's and that was the best I've been to.

Then there was the 125 1989 miami sx where Bradshaw crashed 100 x's and won.

Orlando 2007 is the first one I think of too.

Jacksonville 2009 is up there also with James and Reed going at it.

Oh one more comes to mind and IMO was better then the other two I mentioned. Opening round 1998 LA coliseum when Tortelli comes from outside the top 10 to surprise the hell out of everyone in his first ever AMA supercross race.

Recently..

I would have to say A1 2009 was the most exciting.

I also really liked the 250class phoenix in 08 win there was like ten lead changes and the top 8 were all within like 5 seconds of each other. I think that was weimer's first win?

The best race I've personally seen was San Fran in 07 when Carmichael was racing an abbreviated schedule. Him, Reed, and Stewart all lead lots of laps. Great battles.

Of all time I have no idea...

I remember being there for that one, he rode with his visor restricting his view if I remember right. Hell of a get off on that one!

Hmmm Atlanta 1990 comes to mind. Plenty of lead changes and I think Jeff Ward won it?
