Is this just an Android or Verizon thing? Just received it today on my phone text, anyone else?
My gawd freaking Google really sucks! They already shut down my Gmail account because it was full as it was tied to all my photos and videos in the cloud. 🙄
I tried to clean up those photos and videos one day but it was too hard as the majority of them are with Jan. So I just stepped away from the computer and created a new email on AOL.
So what does this all mean? I have to text through Google and one day I'm gonna get a message that my accounts too FULL and for extra money I can get more storage? 🤬
Fuck google like borg says, maybe my fellow ol guy who hates all this modern day tech like me plowboy has the answers? 🙂

I’m on Verizon with an IPhone and didn’t receive it…
Not sure I mentioned this but "Fuck Google"
I read that if there's things in your email (gmail) that they don't like, they could shut your whole Google services donw cutting you off from ALL your information.
Message+ is just one of the stock text messaging apps on Verizon based Android smart phones. Google Messages is a texting app designed by Google. Verizon is going to handle sending and receiving text messages and passing them through the network. Google Messages does nothing but show the text messages stored on your phone and tell the phone what to send after you type it up. Google Messages is a text messaging app.

Tech is so complicated.
My wife...who has patience, unlike me...has been fucking around all week trying to get her Outlook email to work.
She's convinced Microsoft has changed shit so she will be forced to subscribe to some monthly fee to do what she wants to do.
The browser based outlook is much better than the outlook client software installed on a computer
So what you're saying is down the road Google is not going to send me a text message saying, my text messaging account is full and for $4.99 a month (at an introductory discounted rate) I can continue texting.
And my next question is, I do not really have any options, correct?
When will the madness stop? 🙄
Well, I guess I could look on the bright side and at least I don't have to scan a QR code or create a new account with another password to go along with the other 50 I have to remember. 🤣
It is a Verizon/android thing.
And the factory messaging is going away.
Everyone hates Google.
But you might as well spread the hate around to everything related to our electronic age.
Everything spies on us for marketing purposes.
My android text app doesn't have the option of blocking spam texting.
This switch over does have that function.
I'm sold.
Switched over last night.
I'm no more annoyed by Google, than I am this site that has that last second jump, that has you inadvertently clicking ads.
Thus getting clicks/revenue.
Thus constantly making you spend time going in and deleting cookies, and the data they store.
You have thousands of options of text messaging apps in the Android Play Store. You do not need to use Google Messages.
Google Messages does not store your text messages nor does it move your message from your phone to another phone. Your network carrier moves the text message and your phone stores the text message. Google Messages reads messages from your phone and tells your phone's 3g or 4g radio to send what you want to your network. You can use any text messaging app to do that.
EDIT. Why did I get two downvotes? I'm not lying
I received the same message. I'm not sure but I think it's because my phone is 8 years old (Samsung S7 edge). So old the current Google messaging app is incompatible with my phone.
Post a reply to: Have you guys received this message?
