I was digging through the old Racer X films Archive of video and saw the video of Shaun palmer preparing for last years outdoor season. Just wondering what happened to him, in the video it said he had a deal with YOT that if he qualified 1 out of 5 races they would give him support for the whole season.
Huh? as of last weekend he has won every race this year, semi's,etc all the way to the over-alls, and I believe he is on the olympic team also.
The old Shaun Palmer was bad ass.

So far this year he's won every snowboard event he's been in. And he didn't win "just barely". People rarely run away in snowboardcross. And now he's back on the US Ski and Snowboard team. We'll see about the next Olympics.
Dudes a badass. He'll be 40 by the time he lines up for the olympics. His best days are behind him, but if he's still qualifying for the olympics at 39, DRUG and HGH FREE, then he deserves a little more credit.
Don't go exaggerating on the prize money , I'm sure its at least $125
