Yes, sadly, we heard the he "passed" away also. It is so sad. He passed in his sleep. He was an awesome "A" rider who was going to make it to the show for sure. Well wishes to his family during this sad time.

I spoke to Josh last night and he said it was true.. I dont want to really say to much out of respect to the family! This really really hit close to home as I have known the entire Lafountaine family for half of my life.. Marlo,Carol,Talon,Josh I love you guys and we send our prayers out to your family... Jeagher was an amazing young man and he had mad skills on a dirtbike. I'll never forget the cookie monster costume. You guys took me into your home when i had no where to go and i am very greatful for that.. I love you guys very much and we will all miss jeagher very much

WTF?? I've been reading allot of great things about him of late from his races out at GH. How does a young guy just pass away in his sleep? That makes no sense.. RIP !!

Ya it sucks. He was going to be our next big thing from the desert since Craig Decker.

From Jeagher's family,

"We want to thank all of you for your kind words. Jeagher was a one of a kind human being that left indellable marks on all he touched. For those of you that knew him, he would want you to 'celebrate' his life and the time we were all privileged enough to share with him on this unpredictable journey of life.

Jeagher was a very spiritual being that was so in touch with nature and the energy that surrounds us all. He had an uncanny ability to communicate with animals and nature that words do no justice. Motocross was his passion , but life was so much bigger than that for him. He will certainly live on forever in our lives and will be a driving force to live every moment as if its our last.

To set the facts straight, Jeagher was 18 yrs.old and just graduated HS in January. His passing seemed to be very peaceful, as we discovered he had left us Friday morning in his bed at home. He had a great day of riding at Pala and spent the balance of the day on a road ride with his trainer Randy Lawrence. His final personal gift to me was a hug and kiss goodnight at 9:30 Thursday night. Jeagher had a huge amount of self expectation and set his personal bar the highest. Now what....? As we've learned so much from him, we expect to continue to learn. There are so many unanswered questions about the next leg of this journey; we are confident he will be the one to help us to answer them.

His brothers Josh and Tallon will miss him greatly, but will celebrate life as they no Jeagher would expect them to. They are pillars for us now...For those of you that will be able to come share the celebration of Jeaghers life with us, we will post later this week, here as well as Panic Rev.We Love You Jeagher #59 !"
