2024 Kawasaki KX450 Project Bike | Bolt-On Performance 7

The 2024 Kawasaki KX450 was a pleasant surprise when it was released last year. The new KX has many positive qualities but a couple nagging ones that kept it from winning our Shootout. We have nearly 100 hours on this bike now, what did we do?

Were you able to try the ride engineering triple clamp on the 24-25? If so, why did you choose the Luzon over it?  Thank you for your time

How was wear on lower chain slider that replaced the wheel?


Any issue with overheating? Stock radiator cap kept? 


How about the funky placement of temp sensor? Any issue there?


Any tricks to shock rebound adj? Or pull out the triangle is the hot setup?


Tell me more about the XPR maps? There are 10 but 3 are the main ones? What about the pthers?

I ran the lower guide on one bike for 50 hours.

I run the 1.8 radiator cap on the Kawi.

No issues with the sensor.

I do the adjustments with the bike on the ground, not on the stand for that adjuster.
