This made me laugh. When I was in highschool I pulled the transmission out of my 69 elcamino. Turbo Hydramatic 350. I had no idea how fuckin heavy is was when i pulled it out and it landed on top of me under the car which was not very high off the ground on those little jack stands. Being all alone I had to get myself out from under, but I did. Reinstalling it, I used a 2x4 stud and some bricks, tranny on the end of the wood, lift the wood set a brick just in front, push the wood down a brick goes under the tranny, lift the wood, another brick just in front............. finally got it reinstalled by myself.
