Saw this passing though Geneva on the Lake Ohio. My guess is an 84 - 87 Yz250 if anyone is interested.

Looks like an 85 if the colors are original? They had a great motor for the time!

Couldn't tell you, no one was around when i stopped and looked. If it was a CR I woulda been loading it up. I thought I remembered the early water cooled Yamis had issues.

It's an 85.  Solid motor but the chassis was pretty dated compared to everyone else.  The 82-84 weren't great years for Yamaha as they worked the bugs out of their chassis.  86+ were great bikes.

85 yz 250. Get rid of the DG pipe and put a proform on it. 

The forks can work with help from Noleen. Had a 84  and 85 and 86.
