Is this kid getting a pro deal this year? He is super fast and he rarely gets talked about. would love to see him on a club Mx bike or a firepower Honda
They're trying. I made a couple calls on his behalf but there's not much out there. Crossing my fingers for him...
He deserves a solid shot somewhere. I'd liket o see him land at club!
Good kid, and good family. Very humble. Hope he gets a shot.
Any updates on any amateurs moving around or getting rides. Sounds like Carson wood is going to star

Good Job.
Rock River won’t take him racing? Is that who he’s riding for right now?
Watched him ride at Cedar Lake Arena 2 years ago. Mismatched gear, bike plastics looked like they had 80hrs. Kid was just cranking them. Knew that wasn’t just any goon. Tall kid
Good man.
ML did a lot more than that when he gave Avery his first real "shot" on a team when he had his Honda program and signed Avery... without ever seeing him ride.
He took a gamble and it really helped jumpstart things for him.
Avery Long isn't a person to make excuses so many people aren't aware that he was barely able to make his regional and only 8 months off a full ACL repair at Loretta's and is still building back. He'd been crushing the Pro Sport classes at Mini O's up to the moto he tore his ACL, and still came back to wrap up one of the championships after.
Whoever decides to open the door for him is going to get the hardest working, driven, most focused guy on the line and is going to look like a genius. Mark my words.
My offer to him was a year early. He would’ve been a great asset, and comes from good people. I’m a fan after communicating with his dad a few times last fall. Hope he gets at least an infrastructure support. If not factory, DBD would be a great launch point.
Right now, another year in Futures with solid support and being in the presence of the Star program (through NSA) might be his best bet. I think Avery really has what it takes to make it happen and making the jump/transition without the proper guidance could stunt his progress. Crossing my fingers things work out for him.
I like how this is playing out for him and hoping another year in futures and LL will allow a slot at Star to open
