After observing it for so long and watching races on tv and in person, the thing that sets people like RC, RV, and Bubba apart is corner speed. After watching the race in Atlanta the thing I noticed about RV is that he is so explosive going into corners and coming out compared to everybody else. I believe RC and Bubba do the same. Everybody is pretty much doing the same obstacles but this seems to be where the time is made up. I just couldn't believe the corner speed watching Villy in practice and heats. He goes in so so much faster and explodes out of them. I know I am probably stating the obvious but if the other riders concentrated on this more it would be much closer racing in my opinion. Whoops is another big one. And starts. ha...Seriously though, watch the best riders and see how they explode out of the corners especially Villopoto and the whoops are a close second if not right there as far as picking up time as well. The triples, timing sections, finish line jump, etc. everybody is doing the same. Damn, I should be a riding coach. :D

WRONG WRONG, all of you. Supercross is won by doing the Bubba scrub, someone told me there is now a Bubba corner scrub also.

I hate to tell all you arm chair experts but take a closer look at any race and you will see that the fast guys are faster coming up to jumps, landing sooner, getting on the gas quicker, staying lower, braking later, have the ability to hang on longer in the rough, last longer over a moto indoors or out, think quicker and make less mistakes. NO the race is NOT won in the corners, its a combination of many many things. Its YOU guys that do not race.. Get to any good MX school.ay attention and learn before saying such ingnorant things or if thats to hard take a look back on your tivo while eating your chips and drinking that beer and observe closely, sheesh i can't believe this is a serious MX forum sometimes

Level, so you're telling me that if I go faster around the corners, I can be the '09 SX champ? Does that mean I have to lean the bike over?

You guys are way to hard on people!! The dude had an opinion and last I checked, in the great USA, people had the right to express themselves. Now, either some of you are giving him a hard time, because you had wanted to say and didn't or are just trying to justify you know show much!! If y'all already knew how to win in Supercross, how come you clicked on his thread? :?

So if i'm not slower coming up to jumps , if I don't land later, If i don't get on the gas later or stay higher, or brake earlier, if i get in shape and can last longer (your wife just took her shirt off), if i don't think slower and don't make a bunch of mistakes I can be faster? It took a school for you to learn this?

Aren't you the one who pissed his pants until he got Lenny booted? GREAT TRADE THAT WAS...

[quote="YamieRider411":3bklqhay]Level, don’t worry about it… Douche bags like flarider have a superiority complex because they waste some much of their time on this message board. My daughter spends a lot of time in the Hannah Montana message boards, I guess it makes her equal to most of the old guys here.[/quote:3bklqhay]
So you learned something from that nugget of knowledge?

Hey guys, we've found a second one....

So if I spend time on Monkeydrive AND Hannah Montana message boards, that would make me more equal ?

Just sayin'
