All the fireworks were fine except the line of fireworks that look like ropes rolling over all the jumps. They emit this huge blume of white smoke that takes about 30 minutes to go away. When RC and Reed did there 2 or 3 laps together the track was like this one big haze and the 1st heat it was still hazy. All for 2 seconds of white smoke. They should get rid of that. All the other fireworks were fine just that particular one that lines the jumps. It irritated me bad because you couldn't get a clear view of Reed and RC out there showing off.

Even though I was there to watch the race, when LN put on a major lazer/firework display at this year's Des Moines Arenacross, it kinda blew me away.

The firecracker "rope" was the trickest part!

Just sayin'

I agree, I just posted about this in a differant thread. I friggin hate!!!! the firecracker rope thing! And we have to sit there and breath it in. The problem is that they should know the dome has no ventalation for that crap. It's like this every year.

I don't remember the rope fireworks in San Fran, I must have been in the beer line. The big blow torch was bad ass, you can feel the heat 100 yards away.

I was second level row 1 seat 20 by the take-off of the triple after the start. We could feel it. The first time it went off, my 8 y/o son jumped back like he'd been burned.

Oh, and I'll vote for Hillbilly's version of SX.

a few years ago in anaheim, the rope fireworks stopped mid track, about 1 minute later (and after all the track workers forgot about it) it started going around the track again... made for a few laughs..
