How are you guys pouring race gas?

VP 5 gallon buckets are not so bad because of the spout, but how are you guys pouring the 6.6 ETS without spilling it everywhere?  It’s so full to the top of the container even with a wide mouth funnel a bunch of it runs down the side of the can.  Is there a nozzle that maybe fits on the small side?  Or maybe use a pump?

When you pour out of a drum, pour with the opening at the top not at the bottom!

I’ve seen some battery powered transfer pumps that would probably work great. 

To answer your original question, I mostly pour it all over the bike and ground.

Made my own for the ETS small hole. Hardware store trip I bought a brass male threaded insert to the barb fitting for a standard fuel jug hose. Added a 90 degree hose bender. Tried a plastic barbed insert but threads failed after a few pails. Brass much better. image 116.jpg?VersionId=

I use the cheapo battery powered transfer pump from Harbor Freight. Never spill a drop.

Harbor Freight pump is only about $13 versus $33 for the ETS spout.  👍🏻

3/4" NPT with 3/4" ID hose barb fittings x2

3/4" inner diameter clear vinyl tubing all from hardware store.

I run VPR straight up in my crf.


Not sure how it’d do at sea level but in north Utah at about 3k it runs very clean.
