Hello everyone

I am a 26 year old Motocross enthusiast from Belgium. I've been following the sport since I could walk. On this page, I will be sharing my Honda CRF250R build. I have always dreamed about having a factory looking dirt bike. Motocross is obviously a very expensive sport so it will take a while, maybe even some years, before I'll have this project finished.

Here is a list of what I'll be changing in the future:

Graphics kit + seat cover
- Throttle Syndicate Slam Life Racing (SLR) (already ordered it, coming soon).

Exhaust
- Yoshimura exhaust system (already have one, just not a proper picture yet, coming soon).

Clutch
- Hinson Clutch (full system).

Suspension
- I'm more of a fan of KYB than Showa. The Showa stock suspension is very stiff on the Honda. A friend of mine has a Yamaha YZ450F with KYB and it's really soft and comfortable. I've been looking for a KYB kit, but I'm afraid it will be too expensive. I think I'll be better off just bringing my Showa's to a suspension specialist.

Triple clamps
- Not sure which one I'll pick. I'm thinking between Xtrig, Luxon and Ride Engineering. Feel free to let me know in the comments which one you guys recommend.

Handlebars & grips
- From the ODI brand. I live in Belgium, if these are not available in my country I'll probably stick with Renthal.

Front brake and clutch levers
- Sadly, ARC is not available in Belgium, because they do not ship worldwide. Therefore, I'll have to look for other options. I'd like to have black ones. I'll have to look around for some other brands.

Edit; It seems there is an other brand which offer a similar look to ARC which is RFX. It's easier to find here in Belgium.

Rims and tires
- D.I.D black LTX Rims with Dunlop MX34's.

Tank cover
- CMT carbon

Skid plate
- Acerbis black.

-------

That is all for now. I might add/change a few things in the future. Feel free to give your own opinions and thoughts. Feedback is always appreciated.

Here is a picture of my current bike (more pictures will come later).

I also own a 2023 CRF250R. Mine is pretty stock other than a suspension re-valve and different springs(much needed mod), titanium foot pegs, throttle jockey graphics, gold chain, red rear sprocket, axle blocks, grips and hour meter.AE16DE4B-2032-4CC7-B346-6180D0E2E97F

Thanks for sharing! The bike looks very clean and sharp. Is it needed to change the stock chain? I have heard they wear out quickly, but I am not sure if I should believe this or not.

My graphics kit from Throttle Syndicate just arrived today. The seat cover will be done by friday, I'll be sure to update this page with some new pictures.

New update. My graphics kit with the new plastics have arrived. I only took this picture of the front because I still have to put the seat cover on. Took the picture in my garage as it's been raining all day.

Took some pictures of my current bike. Finally got the seat cover done as well. Very happy how the graphics and seat cover turned out.

Your graphics look great. I replaced the chain just to have a gold one. I’m sure the stock one performs just fine. Latest project I did was take the stock header off and polish it. Then heat it with a torch till it turns blue. Also put a $18 Yoshimura sticker on the stock muffler. Put it on backwards since it doesn’t fit correctly on the stock exhaust tip. 60C0B757-D353-46CE-B100-731D9FD401D1

Oh, yeah I heard from a professional supercross racer that there is a gold D.I.D chain that doesn't wear out as fast as the stock one and the gold actually stays.

--

Also, since ARC Levers doesn't ship to Belgium, I managed to order a set here in Belgium since the store is a Parts Europe distributor. I'll be probably one of the very few, maybe even the only one here, who has an ARC lever set soon. Went with the DC8 Clutch Perch kit CP-304. Also ordered an extra Raptor 2 number plate to protect the triple clamps as I'll be getting new ones in the future. If all goes well with the shipment, I should have the plate this friday. Pictures should follow soon.

I started off with fine sandpaper, then scotch bright pad and finished with a mothers metal polish.

Can you not get arc levers at all or did you mean just for the 24 kx450 right now.

Hey man

Basically, I was looking on the ARC Levers official website and it says they only ship intercontinental (North-America). I was bummed because I really wanted the ARC ones for my Honda. I found out that Parts Europe is the distributor for all kinds of dirt bike parts in my area. So I managed to get an ARC Levers kit from a store that works together with Parts Europe.

---------------------

I said in my post that I would post pictures yesterday, but my Raptor plate had some delay, so I'll be posting some pictures once it arrives. I must say with these ARC Levers and soon the new Raptor plate the bike looks a bit Factory already.

Shane from ARC told me this: (Mx Factory Parts Ltd) They are a very trusted partner of ours, they even handle warranties in house for us!

UK based.
