Loretta Lynn’s 2024

7/31/2024 6:42pm

Man.  Looking at the weather down there it looks brutal.  94 with a feels like temp of 104!

I crossed Tn. Today del  in Chattanooga they took our keys & made us  sit in a tin shack that was 200 degrees.  Then work on the trk in another town. I Love the 93-99 and muggy weather. Ky. Tn. Line lastnight had a big storm with 70 mph winds & sheets of rain. Nashville this morning was bad a lane on i24 was flooded and closed , so traffic was Real bad.  Did the track get that storm last night?    I said last April the high temps and humidity is early. It could b a Hot 1 at LL.

Also, the system the last few years has been changing yet people still bitch. Motos are 25 for pros at almost all the big amateur nationals including Loretta’s.

don't listen to me, i am just a fan of the sport......listen to Ben Townley about the future of his son, who has just become World Junior 85cc champion, its in the topic about the World Junior race......or listen to Desi Lawrence about his 2, american champions, sons, its in pulpmx originally i think, but i saw it here on vital first...... just to mention the latest...... they should know what they are saying.....

dont even discuss this with me, do it with your mx friends.....i dont have a horse in this race, i am just a fan, looking from the outside, benchracing.....

I could give two shits where the stars of the sport come from. I’m not saying that the European amateur racing isn’t a better option for some, I’m simply saying it’s ignorant to imply the American scene isn’t taking steps to try and close the gap.

I know it will never go backwards but just feel way too many classes. You want to find the best up and comers but then you let them split classes with limited and “regular”? What’s the point of that besides trying to get more entries? Have all the best 250b riders together. Same with mini classes. Realize kids develop differently but do we really need the age splits so close together. If your kid is slow to mature he will get his chance the following year. Just feel it splits the talent too much, you don’t get everyone racing together. This also hurts the local racing because the parents with kids not at training facilities expect all these classes at the local level and you end up with 3-4 lap mots

Up and comers need to be racing, not pounding laps against the same 7 kids on the same tracks at a training facility.

People can say what they want about Deegan but Brian had him racing a lot and look what happened, he's got tons of racecraft compared to most of his peers.  Chance Hymas raced a ton too.  Proof is in the pudding.

Drew Adams also taking the same approach. He's been racing the Canadian nationals instead of pounding laps around the same test track against a stop watch. Drew is gonna do big things once he starts racing the pros.

My apologies, I did not put that much thought into it when I clicked to only quote your post and I guess I ignorantly thought that you were speaking about Loretta's.

I'm very sorry for how upsetting this must have been for you and your family.

I’m interested to see the Gordon brothers amateur careers, and how they progress into the future

Yea I didn’t want to be a dick if English wasn’t your first langue as it appeared you couldn’t comprehend a basic response. Still looks like it’s going over your head.

Calling you out? Sensitive fella aren’t we?

Caden Dudney with a 20 second lead throws down a 1:54 on the final lap of 250B just because. Team Green has some serious talent in the pipeline in A and B classes, hopefully Kawasaki let's Mitch sign some of them.

I wouldn’t bother with him. He will throw out irrelevant responses about dazzy making a comment 5 years ago. He is very passionate about it  and hides under the “ no dog in the fight” excuse. He has no idea the steps taken to improve the American amateur scene nor understands when you try to explain.
