Trump shot?

how/why was the fireman shot? In the videos, he was at the upper left of the bleachers behind Trump. As in (a total guess) 30 yards away. that is one hell of a miss. Anyone else find it curious?

I think it's either this or the BlackRock angle.

As questionable as this whole thing has been, I still cannot wrap my head around it being so sloppy and obvious. And for the Democrats, I cannot think of a motive that makes sense, other than "Eliminates Donald Trump" and I don't see how making a martyr out of him helps anyone or anything. The republican party would lose zero voters and likely gain a ton of voters, and the democrats would lose voters who lose faith in either party.

You know I've also looked into Blackrock's financials and it's true, they have made WAY WAY more money under Biden than Trump. They also donate to Democrats 2:1 more than Republicans. But if Blackrock=The Democratic Party, that harkens back to my point that Corporate Oligarchy is the real problem here. Not left vs. right. I think other people here have made a decent case for financial gain as motive that makes way more sense to me than political gain.

Maybe it's naive but I want to believe the lone crazed gunman angle, because if it's a conspiracy and it's Blackrock or either political party, I would have no hope for our country moving forward, and the hope I currently have is hanging on by a thread.  Like the audacity to use someone they put in a commercial is so crazy to me. It would mean that whoever orchestrated this believes the American people will never come together.  That the American people will never rise up against the people who would benefit. That they can sow unrest and cause terror and we will just implode against each other. It isn't that I don't want to believe that the people in power on either side could do this, it's that I don't want to believe what that implies about American society as a whole.

Sure.  However, the connections of Lee Harvey Oswalt (even if you subscribe to the multiple shooter theory I would highly doubt Oswalt was purely a patsy) to the "establishment" were way more obfuscated than literally putting the guy in a commercial for a company with such a nefarious and questionable reputation. Additionally, the motivations for the JFK assassination, at least in my understanding, were also a lot less obvious than they would be in this shooting, as Oswalt was framed as a commie enemy to America.

Then you also have the current political climate, we were a lot more stable as a society when JFK was shot. I mean I wasn't there, but I don't believe the American public started questioning the circumstance of that situation in the immediate aftermath. If you're assassinating Trump in a play for power, you at least have to create a situation where you at least stand to benefit, and I still haven't seen anything that would benefit the "establishment" in this case, the Democratic party.

You also have to consider we now view the JFK assassination with 60 years of scrutiny and political context added in. I

But also, in agreeance with my last post, I think the responsibility of the JFK assassination was on the "machine" of big government as opposed to one political faction or the other. And if I'm honest if this guy didn't act alone in the attempted assassination of Trump, then it's far more likely to be corporate interest or the "machine" of big government than the DNC.

His second volley was what, 4-5 rounds?

He wasn't very good with one at a time, so I'm sure he would be all over the place with a rapid volley.

(Just a guess of course)

I mean the guy put out 8 rounds aiming for a giant mass of bodies and only hit Trump, that guy and one other person (I think).

As lucky as Trump was not to get hit(more seriously), I think that shot was also lucky to be as on target as he was.

i read that the firemen took the bullet to the forehead. that's one hell of an accurate shot. dunno - something just smells weird about the fireman getting a direct shot 30+yards away from the target.

I mean it's a good shot IF that's what he's aiming for.  If you're just popping rounds in a general direction it's lucky/unlucky depending on which end of the gun you're on.

I do not buy into the conspiracy theory. Yes, this was a calamity of errors.

For the past 8 years you have had people saying Trump is a threat to democracy. Trump is Hitler. Trump wants to take your rights away.

And that’s the tame stuff being said.

Is it any wonder you have a lone wolf looking to take out “the biggest threat to democracy”.

Suprised it hasn’t happened sooner.

Every president, former president, or those running for president, deserve protection.

We cannot dictate security through the lenses of politics.

I do not like Joe Biden. But he’s a United States president. We cannot allow a US president, current or former, to be shot and killed.

He’s my president. He’s our sitting United States President. I would be upset and frankly ashamed if he were to be assassinated.

We need to do better.

Trump deserves protection. The highest we as a nation can provide.

It’s absolutely shameful that people were attempting to remove his security detail through some law or rule.

He’s a former United States President.
Killing a current President, a former President, or a citizen running for president…. Is a TOTAL breakdown in our society.

The fact ANYONE would cheer the attempted killing of a former US President is embarrassing.

I guess exist was a poor word for me to use.

The strongest supporters of the second amendment seem not to want to give up the slightest bit of their freedom to arm themselves, because they know every restriction is a step towards the next one.

As mentioned in the example earlier, there are influential groups of people who support Donald Trump who want to restrict the freedoms of women and of LGBT individuals. Every law passed or right taken away is a step towards a world where I’m less valid as a human being.

The end game is get people clipped/banned.      Tread at your own risk.

According to the SS DEI director there are more pressing issues that their attention must be focused on, rather than protecting past/present Presidents.

Yep, I'm sure you know this but others may not, as you shoot successive rounds out of a semi automatic rifle it's natural tendency is to climb upwards and to the left.  That is where the recoil and ejection of the bullet casing pulls it due to physics.

From some guy called Nephi/Revenge of the Afghan that I’m listening to on a podcast:

He says there is audio forensic evidence that there was a SECOND SHOOTER 25% further away from the kid on the roof.  25% further is the additional distance to the water tower.

Folks, we are being told A story.  They are not telling us THE story…

Regarding your last paragraph, there are groups on the right who feel the exact same way, only with the left/liberals/Democrats being the group that takes away rights. It's not just the 2nd amendment.

Also, the 2nd amendment is an ACTUAL amendment in the Constitution, but it is still attacked mercilessly by liberals. Just the fact it is the 2nd amendment should tell us how important it was to the Founders.

Whereas Roe v Wade was decided on some convoluted weavings within the Constitution.

By supporting the left/liberals/Democrats you are choosing the side which would lead us to socialism/communism or left-wing fascism, and you wouldn't be valued at all in those.

We should be defending the liberties and freedoms that are protected by the Constitution for all of us.

Take gay marriage for example. I am opposed to it from a personal belief/religious standpoint, but I also believe it is a right protected by the Constitution. Therefore I would defend it.

They are an absolutely massive multinational investment group and index provider. People call them a "shadow bank" and think they have a crazy amount of influence on economics due to their size. Their bad reputation is largely due to their "diversified" investments, such as: fossil fuels, weapons, and China. For example they are the only Foreign company allowed to wholly own a mutual fund within China's investment industry. At the same time they have a pretty cozy relationship with the Federal Reserve.

Jesus the more I research the less I know, but basically they are the face of Globalized Capital. However I have to think that people (myself included) are thinking of multiple companies when we're talking about how evil they are.  Blackstone is the investment group buying up single family homes. Blackwater was the mercenary company. Blackrock is the global "shadow bank."

https://medium.com/@moneytent/blackrock-the-most-evil-business-in-the-world-fc2e2a9842c0#:~:text=This%20colossal%20financial%20control%20is,%2C%20economies%2C%20and%20global%20events. There is an article kinda laying out the influence they have, but take it with a grain of salt, as who knows what that guy's axe to grind is.

***Again, I believe (naive or not) that this is a swiss cheese situation. I still have a ton of questions though.  Like what are the rules of engagement for the Secret Service? At what point did this kid break a law (I understand PA is an open carry state)? Even if open carry is legal, does the Secret Service have the authority to mark kid as a threat and detain? I agree that someone should have to answer for failings, but I also do not know enough about the actual rules and authorities of the secret service within this context to fully identify the failings other than saying "This should not have happened."

People also don’t think about how small of a deflection it would take to miss by 30ft at 150 yards.

I grew up in New England. Dad grew up one of six kids the projects in Hartford where some first hand experiences left him with some strong racial opinions for the rest of his life. Not sure when they moved but he got into motorcycles with his brothers and raced a tiny bit in the 70s at Southwick. Legend has it he was great but they just didn’t have money for that sort of thing. He ended up in a motorcycle-centric gang and got in some trouble with everything from drugs to hiding some murder evidence.

Mom was from Massachusetts and her dad had a small construction company. My dad was a skilled carpenter. Fast forward some years and they were married and my sister and I were born and and we lived in the suburbs and I was into all the non-motor sports.

My dad would occasionally bring home magazines from a Honda dealership or something and make it sound like we were going to get bikes but it was unrealistic. He got big into R/C cars and we did that together for a while.

They inherited some wooded land in Maine from my mom’s dad and we moved when I was 11 or 12. They built a house and before the grass had grown we had… a 1990 Yamaha RT100 (I think), a Kawasaki 125 with dual shocks and a headlight, and some kind of quad. I got obsessed and we ended up with a little trail through the woods and around the house.

The only work my dad could get paid a fraction of what he made in Connecticut. Mom had a job she hated. Money dried up, tension ensued, Dad moved out and back to Connecticut. I went down to visit and he had bought a nearly new CR80 to full-on bribe me to come live with him. From the RT100 I’d been riding it might as well have been a spaceship.

Mom and Dad worked it out and ended up starting their own construction business in Maine. Mom ran the books and kept the train on the tracks. I wasn’t very useful on the job site but did a lot of truck driving through high school and college 😆

Times were good and we did some racing in NESC and a few tracks that popped up in Maine. I had a CR125 for a while, Dad had something like an XR600, my sister sometimes rode the quad, and we always had an XR80 or TTR125 or something around. I never moved past the C class but I loved it.

Around my 2nd or 3rd year of college I had to hang it up for a few reasons. I was an athlete and my coach had been none too impressed about a shoulder injury one summer on my dirt bike. I’d also hit my head a few times and was nervous about that. I had a shiny aluminum framed YZ125 by then that I sold to pay whatever I owed for that semester or year.

I swore I’d have a bike and a truck and a backyard track and all of that but it just never happened. My first job was a looonng way from home and for the next 12-15 years I just bounced all over the place. I’ve lived up and down both U.S. coasts and “lived” in three other  countries for about 6 months each.

I probably don’t need to say out loud that I never fit in at the track. I had friends but there was a lot of conversation that I just didn’t want to be a part of. I still watch all the races. I’ve been to Southwick, Unadilla, High Point, Budds Creek, Hangtown and Washougal nationals. I’ve been to Supercross at Oakland, Indianapolis, Daytona and Foxborough. I love motocross, but make less effort to get to the races today because unfortunately I get the same uncomfortable feeling at them that I knew when I was younger. I am not saying any of you are these people, but Donald Trump attracts a type of person who I just don’t want to be around, and a lot of them have always been at the race track.

TLDR: Dad loved motocross, got me into motocross. Mom and Dad were self-employed blue collar folks. Dad and I loved each other but were very different. He once told me “It’s probably a good thing that you found an office job” 😆 I grew up in the woods and ended up in the city.

All I see reading this is a pretty fucking normal person. Actually, all things considered you're pretty impressive to come in hear with a bunch of old codgers talking political shit. That takes grit. Kudos to you!

When I watched the video I believed he got shot. I still believe that, but no medical report has confirmed it yet. There’s reasonable doubt that he got hit with shrapnel and is lying. That’s where the ear bandage criticism is coming from.

If you see a helicopter in a tree, do you need confirmation from the FAA that there was a crash?

This is obviously not a real question for you as you stated that you "still believe" he got shot. 🤔

What’s the condition of the helicopter?  Does it show signs of a crash?  Could it have been placed in the tree via a crane?  Are there tread paths around the tree?  Was an accident reported?  Were there any injuries?

Thanks. I got downvotes on my question 🙄 When I Google the name I just see business lingo spaghetti and figured someone here could explain it better.

I believe that had the assassination been successful there would have been much violence in the streets. (Very uncommon for conservatives) and the DOJ could have started going after right leaning people like the J6 protesters.

Suppressing all speech in favor of conservatives. BOOM, endless power for the left.

My daughter is so upset with the republican party due to the states being able to restrict abortion and contraception. We go around and round about this all the time. The constitution is silent on abortion rights therefore it gets punted to the states. I don't see your rights being taken away from gay people. I do see rights NOT being extended to trans people that other people don't have. What rights are you afraid of losing because you have female spouse?

Video of Trump that is touting him walking into ER.....which shows a millisecond of him (basically a nothing burger).   The  more important thing to watch in this video is what appears to be the same incompetent female secret service agent going full keystone cop mode.     Unbelievable.

You see the president has a head wound, you see SS agents with guns drawn, and you first instinct is to walk towards the president with your arms outstretched holding a phone for a video? You don't think there might be a SS agent a bit trigger happy and just catching a glimpse, and we have an Ashley Babbit moment? Fer Fucks Sake people!

Back to the topic at hand....this was clearly a hit put out by the Democrats.  Period.  End of discussion.

There is no reasonable person that could look at everything that happened and is happening now and come to the conclusion that this wasn't on purpose.  The only way you could convince yourself the Democrats didn't do this is if you are a blind follower of all things Democrat.

And here we are....

Not a democrat, but I think their best shot, maybe their only shot, at winning the election is against Trump. If Trump is out of the picture whoever the republicans nominate will win in a landslide against Biden.

I think poor planning and poor communication, and probably a little incompetence, opened the door of opportunity and the kid was able to get off 8 shots despite being marked by law enforcement.

I think this whole incident can be explained by malicious incompetence.

Human nature.... these folks heard the president was shot in the head over the news and then they see him walking into the ER.  Think JFK moment.   Clearly, they were overjoyed.       I agree...a dangerous situation and people need to use their heads.

I'm more concerned with the absolute horrendous training displayed by the SS female agents.  The more I see videos of the initial attack and aftermath, it is shocking.     I'm not being sexist...it pissed me off when I saw men in my field promoted/rewarded over women who were a thousand times better then the men.   Which in that case was pure cronyism and piss poor management.
