Going to be racing out there in mid Sept for a weekend event. Planning on racing the final round of the KMCS and VetMx event.

I've watched a few YouTube clips and the track looks vet friendly? Any feed back would be great.

I'm limited on space so I can only bring one of my trusty steeds, YZ125 or the YZ250?

Fun factor is leaning towards the 125, but....I hear it's pretty sandy.... so the the 250 gets the nod.

Any local insight would be great.

It is Vet friendly and fairly sandy. I live close to it but don't ride there much anymore. 250 definitely the way to go if you're running the Vet race. The 125 is a hoot there but I think there will be enough fast guys from Texas and Oklahoma that you'll want that extra power. Pretty fast start.

Make sure you put a scoop tire on. It's sandy but with a hard base. The scoop makes a huge difference on the start and for the VET MX race they will be ripping it deep. Vet friendly, no major jumps, gets rough and choppy. Pay attention to the weather. Kansas winds can get pretty gnarly and the weather can change pretty quick so just monitor that and be prepared. VET MX is a great week and a great event. You'll have an aweseome time!
