Used to love Racer X’s and Vital MX’s raw videos for the outdoors. They gave such a unique perspective of the riders up close. What happened to them? Why did they stop producing them and is there any chance we can bring them back?
The problem I have with this is it’s barely over 5 minutes and the clips are mediocre at best. We need some proper content from Tommy Tenders and the guy that shoots the clips for Vital’s Instagram. The content is there, you see it in all the news update videos Racer X and Vital put out, they just don’t put it together for raw videos anymore
My guy, there is not much more you can do with this lol. Tom or someone equally as talented shot this. The guys who provide footage to the series are top notch.
Tommy did it the best but he’s locked down in the Lawrence camp now.

We did a bit last year but to put it frankly, the views were terrible. The genre might have been over-saturated for a bit.

I stopped watching them because they all ended up following the super zoomed in shaky cam style, that frankly sucks to watch. Zoom that shit out a bit and hold the camera still, does wonders for video quality.
If algorithms drive everything, mediocrity will prevail. Sometimes you gotta do stuff just because it's cool.
Awesome. Tom's stuff is sooooooo good.
Tom is unique in that he seems to get into a spot where he can catch the riders going by and then pick them up again at just the right time on another part of the track. I don't know if he has two sets of eyes or what, but he is damn good at it. Love it.
