Get the sunoco 260 gtx or gtx plus. You'll get a better price I believe. Maybe a leaded fuel for 125/250 2 strokes. T4 AND VPR if you want the vp name and branding.

Here's a honest question if you advertised it how much foot traffic do you think you could generate for it. Do you think you could get 10-20 people at least to buy 5 gallons. Do you go to the tracks road or dirt. Could you get local car guys to stop in?

That's a good question honestly. We for sure would put it out on our website, FB and IG page. We are putting in Fox this fall and was going to use some traditional advertising for that. Race fuel could be added to that. Still waiting on the Sunoco price list. If we do VP I have settled on VPR and T4 to start.
If you go vp that would be my route as well. You get the most bang for your buck as a dealer let anyone that needs special fuel order it. Sunocos just as good in my opinion and a touch cheaper. Kind of the walmart vs target deal. But anyway build up a dialog with the guys that need the special order fuel and you will be able to almost time when they need it to alway have 3 or 4 around or coming in.

One reason I asked you to think about foot traffic to sell is if your not having it shipped to them and they have to come in to pick it up. Make it a fill up station. You can order 54 gallons of 260gtx which a decent amount of car guys also use. I can get shipped to my door for 616.00 sell it for 15 a gallon that's 193.00 profit. Most importantly cheaper then the pails. I'm sure it's the same with VP.

I can get 10 54 gallons shipped to my door for 5500. Which is like 10.20 a gallon. Those prices are if I just buy it online right now. Not what you would pay as a dealer. So what I'm saying is if you can get the foot traffic to come and fill up vs people buying pails you can make more money and save your customers money. And the more people you can find to use it like boats or jet skis or car guys to come in the fresher the fuel will be and more people to sell something in your shop to that they wont already have. New pit bike or pit quad?
Lots of car guys use it. That's 10-50 gallons a pop might even sell a drum. Just a idea to think about. Only cost issue is if there is any gas stations selling at the pump locally it's quite a bit cheaper.

We are headed there tonight and will definitely swing by and grab some!

Thanks, Chris
Rebel Fuel is a Sunoco distributer in Vegas, i usually call ahead to make sure they have it in stock. It has been about two months since I purchased so the price might have gone up some but doubt it’s as high as most of the VP seems to be!

Local sprint car motor builder gets tons of VP fuels at his shop in 50 gal drums and sells by the gallon. if you bring in your own pale it’s $10/gal for C12

MR Pro6 is the only fuel I ever felt a worthwhile gain from.

I'm surprised by it being that little considering a pail of T4 is $20 more then gtx and gtx plus at most shops.

Probably depends on when they got their fuels. Prices are changing on chemicals in general. Its been hard to keep up with.

If I’m running renegade 110 50/50 with 87 ethanol pump what would that classify as for a vortex for getting one tuned? T4?

I would just tell the tuner you are running renegade 50/50 with pump.

MR Pro 6

If you dare.

Don't let guys with stock motors and ECU's run it, it will carbon up the valves.

But in a mod bike it is absolute rocket fuel.

The best fuel for modified bikes. Also, $$$. MRX02 for two strokes.

You can get VP Racing fuel from Funny’s on Rancho Drive near Santa Fe Casino or Carter Powersports on Decatur near CC215. Funny’s has a wide variety of race fuel, including Pro 6 and MRX02.

I go to carter to get my C12/vp110 that i run in my modified 2006 KX250… the girl in parts (rebecca?) usually takes good care of me … I wish sales would take as good of care of us but last year their quote on a 24 350 was almost 16 grand OTD 🤷‍♂️

Why 87 octane pump gas? In Florida don't they sell premium at either 91 or probably 93 octane at pump?

I mean, I mix at 50/50 as well but I always start with 93 octane premium.

Just defeats the purpose when the cheaper gas your mixing with race fuel is already at a 6 octane deficit.  93 and 110 mixed = 101.5 octane.

87 and 110 mixed = 98.5       might as well spend for the cheaper pump and get the extra you're after

Because I’m running 110 and 87 ethanol free vs 93 with ethanol. I’d just rather run a cleaner gas mix.
