If you don't know why you should hold on extra tight, its going to be a bumpy ride.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking to find a team to finance your way as a B rider?
What compelling reasons do you have why a team (do teams even have programs for B riders?) that some one would take you on as part of their team

DC are you reading this? This is why GPA's should be required in Amateur racing.

Yes, but very few. Get to all the big nationals and win, then factorys will be all over you with contracts.

Yeah, I am kinda naive when I read words "Amateur" as someone who participates in sport for fun and without pay or compensation. In other words on their own dime.

Do it old school.

Get a RacerX or TWMX, Motocross Action, Dirt Bike, Cycle News.

Go through the ads and get any and all company addresses you can. Go on the computer and write out the best resume you possibly can. Have someone proof read it for you,(trust me on this one). Send your resume to those addresses and attention to "Amatuer support team manager"

You're probably going to just get a discount and maybe some free stickers at first. However, once you make that contact then update that contact on exactly how you are promoting their product and decimating the competition.

After a few months of this they will maybe take notice and offer more support.

That, or you could qualify for Loretta's find anyway you can to get back there, kick ass and then go around and personally introduce yourself to team managers and tell them you would like to kick ass for them. By kicking ass I mean like chuck norris style ass kicking. Checking out.......

Or last but not least you can hope that someone is reading this and may pick you up and pay your way to all the races. Wink

Looks like you got 14th in the AREA qualifier for Loretta Lynn's back in March. Hate to say this but, results are not there yet for you to be looking for someone to hook you up with a team.

So the regional qualifier is still to go. And a 14th isn't good enough in the Regional races. Dont they take the top 5 or something?

Daniel we are busting your balls. Keep working at it. When you are good enough the support will come to you. Not the other way around.

Well, sense no one is going to help Daniel, how about hooking me up?

I race B class and need free stuff. Cash works best for me, but I'll take whatever you're giving!

Thanks guys!

K well here's the thing.

Results matter. If I was as fast as I said I was, Chad Reed and James Stewart would cry when they see me line up.

If you're being serious, what you need to do it put together a little resume'. Dont make it too long cause rider support reps doing like reading through a bunch of pages, make it short and sweet. Most companies dont accept resumes until Sept. or so for the following years. Send your resume to as many companies as you can. I can guarantee you'll get replies from most places, but dont expect too much at first....you'll probably start off on the lowest level and work yourself up from there. Good luck!

See look, Torco is hookin' you up already. Who says the internet is all bad.

The best support you will ever get is to go get a JOB and pay for the stuff you need. Make all the connections you can so that you can fund your racing with discounted parts tires gear etc...

Learn how to and then make a riding/ racing resume' and send it to companies, hand it to companies it goes a lot farther than saying you are ready. When you put it all on paper you will probably see that you have a lot more to accomplish before anyone will consider some support.

Good Luck

k ive responded to like 4 of your posts so ill respond to this one. unless your top 5 at the amatuer nats, NOT local races (local doesnt prove anything) you have a chance of scoring a good support like rockstar am team or the kawi am team hell maybe even HHR. but other than that you have no chance, welcome to the ranks bud.
