I agree. Check out the lap times. The top lites riders are right in there on bikes of lesser performance (supposedly). The only thing the existing class structure is doing is diluting the top talent. The "lites" concept made more sense back 20 years ago when new pros had little to no SX experience, but that just doesn't seem to be the case anymore. At the very least the AMA should ditch the East/West scenario, but I think one group of the top 40 riders would be the best. SX should be the elite, IMO.

I'd like to see a National Lites Supercross Championship, if they keep it the way it is now they should make people like RV more up. He is a two time National MX Champion, a West Coast Lites SX Champion and a MX of Nations Champion yet they let him ride in the class that is to help develoment for sx ???

Say they just add on a open class make the racing night longer, its bad enough out of 2 mains were only getting around 40 mins of racing.

Wasn't there a rule in the past that once you got a certain # of points in the 125 class you were forced to move up? RV has to be close to that if the rule still exists.

SX should be two classes.

125cc Two-Stroke only and 250cc Two-Stroke only.
