Weimer / Canard / Barcia / Wey on DMXS Radio Tonight!

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites - East is in the record books and Geico Powersports Honda’s Justin Barcia reminded everyone with his convincing win that he’s going to be around all summer long, too. He finished up in second place in the points and scored two wins in an impressive rookie SX season. With only the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Supercross Lites Shootout in Vegas to go on the indoor bike, Bam Bam will busy testing with the team for the grueling outdoor season over the next few weeks but not before giving us some time tonight.

Pro Circuit’s Jake Weimer has been on a bender in Cabo for the last eight weeks since the series headed East, but we’re pretty sure he’ll make it back in time for Seattle this weekend. Of course we’re joking, but waiting two months to race two races for a title with your main competition on the podium five times in the 450 class would lead most folks to drink. Jake will fill us in on what in the hell he has been doing during the torturous time off.

Red Bull Honda’s Trey Canard could write a great essay for English class on what he did over his Spring break. Instead of heading to Panama City with the rest of the kids his age, the feisty redhead jumped on Andrew Short’s vacant bike and set the 450 world on fire while raising his stock to the moon. There is still unfinished business in the Lites class as the series jumps back West this weekend and only a mere 14 points separate the top two spots. We always enjoy having Trey on and look forward to catching up.

TiLube Babbitt’s Nick Wey scored his best finish in quite some time in St. Louis with a solid fourth on a tough, technical track. Nick has been a regular on our show since the beginning and has his own faithful DMXS following so we had to get him on this week for some southern props.

We would also like to send out our thoughts and well-wishes to Ivan Tedesco and Ryan Villopoto for a speedy recovery. They both went down pushing hard and their fans look forward to seeing them both on the gate soon.

Why are they trying to put words in Weimer's mouth. He had an opinion about RC's broadcasting that he could have worded better. I don't get why they acting like he can't have an opinion and he needs to say sorry for everything.

I don't think they were doing that, they just brought up the backlash and mentioned that you'll never win when you question Carmichael.

They never said that Weimer was wrong (He wasn't) just that GOAT criticism is masochism.

That kind of sounds like that flag waving bullshit everyone gets all hyped up about.

RC was a true champion, but that doesn't mean that he has a free pass to be right all the time.
