2023 Husqvarna FC350

Took the clutch slave out of the case to do some maintenance and it won't go back in. Is there a special procedure to getting it back in? When I try to get the two bottom bolts started it gets cocked. Every video I've watched it just goes back in easy. But that's when it has no fluid and the line isn't attached. Do I need to empty the fluid to reinstall it?

IF YOU HAVE A SHORT BOLT LIKE THE OTHER TWO TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THE LONG ONE AS TO BOLT IT DOWN THEN PUT LONG ONE IN AFTER SLAVE IS SEATED

That's exactly what we did! Thanks. I wonder why it's such a pain to get on?

Interesting. The one I'm working on now I have to tighten all three bolts evenly to get it to go on. I also messed with the clutch lever while it was apart so maybe that could be why?

No idea I hate these newer styles of clutch though they are terrible if you ask me.  Had a lot of trouble with ours lately.  I'm roughly $450 deep in it right now and still having the same issue.

Buy the Rekluse slave, it will save you hours of maintenance and trouble in my experience

Only reason we have it apart is because the bike threw a chain. The slave body got scraped but I think it can be salvaged. We're waiting on more parts, after those come in I'll throw it back together and see if I'm able to bleed it and get it working. If not, we may have to go aftermarket.

Did the throttle tubes on these bikes change between 17 and 23? I ordered some Protaper lock on grips since ODI's were out of stock and the throttle cam looks to be a bit different. The fitment guide only shows bikes up to 2018, way to stay on top of things PT... Anyways, I've compared part #'s on a few brands of throttle tubes (Not an easy feat considering barely anyone makes an aftermarket throttle tube for this bike), some brands say all 17-24 four strokes are the same and some have different part #'s between the years. I'm really confused! Lol.

No they are just a pain in general we have been fighting with ours for over a month.  Not wanting to hold when doing a start.  Think it was the pressure plate after I had already replaced everything else.  Never had an issue with old style.  I hate this thing though.

I believe they’ve got a patented throttle cam which is why ODI says to use the OEM cam from a certain year (2018?) onward.

If you want a metal throttle tube the ODI fusion or works connection elite are good options. You’ll need your OEM cam for both though.

Something else I hate this stupid cam deal.  Just give me a real throttle tube all in 1 piece.  Some of this stuff they are doing anymore is just stupid.

It's a friend's bike. I just ordered ODIs for him.
