Thats a funny assumption, my dad was an old school Democrat. He grew up in the 40s and 50s and only liked pre-Beatles music so when the radio was on it was either oldies or AM talk which was mostly right wing stuff. He didn't buy into it but he liked hearing for himself what was being put out there, apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Can't really comment on the cash, I haven't been following that story much and I'm not black, sorry.

My grandparents, whom were very white, never trusted or kept money in the bank. Learned from living through the Great Depression.

As convenient as electronic payment is, I’m shying away from anything but ca$h.

I have an ATM business and the usage is down. I have been considering offloading it but waiting to see how crypto and the government pan out. If cash becomes king again I will be happy

My grandparents were the same, my grandad was a racist. Nothing I'm proud of, nothing I could change.

And today when everything is going "cashless". I don't know anyone who keeps a large amount of cash at home today and uses it for paying back boy friends, DA's, etc.

My grandparents kept sending cash in the mail. I’m 45, my grandma died about 7 years ago. I’d get cash or checks.

What do you consider a "large" amount of cash?

Enough  to reimburse in cash for expensive  trips, etc. And I'm not the district  attorney  that needs be be beyond reproach. Seems the only people having  that many cash transactions are trying to hide something  regardless  of  the other things....

have not had any cash in a while.

I would suggest it is the maximum amount our government will let you deposit without an explanation or a possible red flag.

last time i remember it was $10k.

I wonder when that number will be adjusted for inflation.

I thought that after a $5k deposit they have to send a notice. But regardless, It's not that entirely disagree with what he said, but if you're going to say the same thing over and over and over, I'd like a better understanding of what he means. I know many people that just before payday have zero dollars, I also know people that probably keep north of $10k. But the folks that typically keep $$s are not going to use it on vaca.

Any cash transaction over $10K.  If you pay cash at a dealership for a new bike and it's over $10K, the dealer is supposed to file a form for that transaction.  A looooong time ago when I was briefly in the car business, I had to fill out forms for large cash transactions a couple of times, but I think that the limit then may have actually been $20K.  On one of them, the guy could/should have just written a check, but he went to the bank next door and got his cash out in $5, $10, and $20 bills so that he could take a picture of his first 'cash' new vehicle purchase.  It was a decent sized stack of money, actually!

Very difficult to pay cash today. She should know it is not proper to do all cash as a DA. She should let her "Daddy" know that.

Where you been Bro, it has been discussed "Ad Nauseum" in here.

Do you know the answer to the original question?

Thanks in advance.

You took more time to be evasive then actually give a #. Are you embarrassed by your answer that you don't want to state it?

This is her "Daddy" thread, feel free to post in Fannys thread and all your questions will be answered.

But you know that answer correct?

Bro, are you trying to say something here? You know there is no exact dollar amount as your girl by her own admission does not have receipts. Her "Daddy" was trying to explain it away....very poorly at that.

You knew all this......so what is your deal?

It's not a difficult question. What do you consider a large amount of cash? I know her dad's explanation. But you keep writing, I don't know anyone who keeps large amounts of cash...

Since you keep writing that, how do you define "a large amount of cash"? Simple enough to answer with numbers.

Bro, you know the answer to this question but you are afraid to answer. She said she paid back the dude in cash for ALL the trips she took with him and any expenses.

You can add those expenses up and get the answer you are looking for. I don't know anyone that would do this type of cash payments and they are not county DA's. Again, you know all this.

Just look at all the detailed receipts miss fanny has, you will get the exact number.
