Mr Sponsorship, the first guy to really bring outside sponsorship to MX.
I'd like to see a couple pics also. The box truck was pretty cool looking too.

I worked on the box van one time at the Ford dealer where I still work.
He was down here for the Winter -Am or the Tampa stadium Supercross.
I can't remember which.
He gave me an autographed picture/postcard of him jumping over the
box van. Wish I knew where that was and I could scan it for you.
And now Oldschooler has got me wondering , where did I put those
Hi-flyer MX collector cards ?

Surf bike i thought i was going to see something like the first jet ski, but yeah that is such a great sponsor, a clothes detergent maker for a MX rider.

Somewhere I have a pic of his cr with, I think coopers cr. His surf bike looked simple, just a shroud decal. I wouldn't mind setting up my crf like a surf bike.

I have an article where they did a full write up on his 92 CR-250. The pics are all black and white but if I can get it scanned I will post it for you. Also, when I was at Washougal in 89, his bike there was the same addition to the PJ carb bowl that the 85 works Hondas were running.

Great pic, I am sure that this picture alone went a long way in Surf being happy with the sponsorship package. Love the Scott "pull-strip" goggles.
