Good times.....

Used to get the secretaries to go to lunch with us back in the day.   One time a few ended up passed out on conference tables back at the office.  Margarita lunches were a blast.     (and before some dick cheese tries to say otherwise, nobody EVER took advantage of them in that state)  We looked out for the ladies. 

Back when women were fun and enjoyed the game/chase.

Man, I haven’t drank in quite some time. I remember closing the bar, going back to my place with some chick, then taking her home. Crashing out for an hour then having to road trip 140 miles because I was working out of town during the week.  Dig ditches until Friday, go back home and, repeat. It was all a blur man. I swear.  
 

My last night on the town was when I was working up on Mt Rainier about 16 years ago. My buddy was getting sent off to work in town on another job site. The crew wanted to hit the two shitty bars as a send off before his last day. It started snowing at like 1am and, it was time to go. We were pretty trashed. Thankfully, we only had to drive about three miles. I remember my buddy saying, hey, roll  your window down. Wtf? Why? I’m gonna climb out the window, go across the top of the cab, come in through your window and, trade places with you. WTF!!?? Hell no you’re not! 
 

We were arguing about it and, thankfully it was a short trip. I could only imagine.... Driving down some icy ass road with my friend climbing over the top of my truck as we’re passing by a LEO tucked off out of site on some side road. Would’ve made awesome dash cam footage but, man, so dumb, the conversations we’d have. 
 

That morning, we arrived on site to a screaming foreman. THERE’S NO WATER IN THE FUCKIN BUILDING. WHY IS THERE NO WATER IN THE FUCKING BUILDING WHEN IT’S TURNED ON!??!

Remember when not refilling a rental car’s tank before you returned it cost at least twice the price of doing it yourself? I’m in Stockton, CA for the weekend for my oldest’s college graduation, and I rented an F150 (not by choice) from AVIS. The pre-paid tank fill option was literally $35 cheaper than if I’d done it myself. 

Not at all....I had a good chuckle.

...but my point stills stands.
