Which brand has the most durable mirror finish on their lens?  I have found the 100% strata begin to scratch off pretty early on.  I thought maybe I was cleaning them aggressively. So I got another lens and trying to be gentle and preserving the finish.  Still they are not very durable.  Does the mirror finish improve in the armega or racecraft series?

Mirrored lenses aren’t durable no matter what. I’ve had the best luck by rinsing the lens with warm water (without scrubbing) until all the grit is gone, then Plexus or similar to polish away any remaining film.

I always just keep one tear off on the lens, so it never gets dirty.

I use Ripclear lens protectors on my mirrored and other prism goggle lenses with my Oakley Airbrakes. They work great.

You're using the cheapest option available and asking if there is anything better out there. Strata is the entry level goggle that uses a sheet lens. Try an injected lens and it should work better. Not only on the mirror coating but your eyes will thank you if you have a hard impact. Armega Hiper Silver, and run a single tear-off to protect it as the user above mentioned.

I’m aware of the Strata position in the market as I referenced the other two styles as higher end.  I did get one piece of information from your post regarding injection that I believe will help me. Thank you for that.  Would have sat better without the pretentious condescending tone.

You asked a question and were given a reasonable answer, not sure of where you come up with motosaki being "pretentious and having a condescending tone" Woohoo If that hurt your feeling you are in big trouble in this world.

I acknowledge that he gave me an answer. And thanked him for it! And now I’ll thank you for your contribution on this small topic in such a big world!

One thing to consider, when using one of the hard injected lenses like the Armega, if they are mirrored they sometimes get a pretty distracting glare/reflection when tearoffs are placed on them.   It is a show stopper for some people.

The lens is the exact same in the strata, accuri, and racecraft goggle fyi.  The frame, strap or foam is the difference.

And like others have said, mirrored lenses are all prone to scratching and keeping a tear off on them at all times helps a lot.  There are a lot of options in non mirrored tints and colors that do hold up a bit better.
