Oh. Odd of you to just lump me in with whoever you are referring to. Maybe check my individual posts and respond to the individual things I say as an individual. And yes I intentionally said individual a lot. If you’d like to talk about Floyd, create a post and tag me in it. Otherwise, go ahead and defend the actions of POTUS 45 and the rioters on J6 on their own, or don’t defend them and say they were wrong and should be prosecuted accordingly. Your call. Either way, keep the topic on J6.

you try REALLY hard to "sound smart". It comes off as condescending as hell and I enjoy watching you deflect endlessly. Carry on.

Classic projection. Everyone responding to me is avoiding discussing the topic of the thread. J6. But I’M the one deflecting? Hilarious. Like I said, classic projection.

All you guys can do is whataboutism and personal attacks. Can never actually defend your guy on his own. Ever.

There is nothing whataboutism with the George Floyd reference.

All your response says is you aren't able to investigate issues on your own.

From a super suuuuuuuuuuper birds eye view, I guess... kinda... but even then I still feel like it's a bit of a stretch to say, "bringing an ex-president (who is currently running to be president again) into a political conversation is the same as bringing George Floyd into a conversation about January 6th."

Does George Floyd have a damn thing to do with J6? No. So the answer is it of course is whataboutism to ever bring him up.

J6, on its own, was it peaceful and did POTUS 45 act responsibly like a leader of a nation should?

Yes, where did this mysterious pipe bomb go? Who has it now? Wait, let me guess... Our omnipotent FBI? Are they going to say it was planted by Trump after he wrestled the wheel away from the driver of his limo to drop it off? Or has it been "destroyed" like some of the important parts of the J6 Propagandist Committee video and documentation? Maybe they can get 51 Intelligence (ha, there's an oxymoron) folks to sign a letter saying it was Trump who planted it and somehow was unseen on all of the video cameras. Maybe he was wearing a stealth suit. I have to literally laugh at people who call it an "insurrection". What a joke... Yes, let's try to overthrow a government with flags and banners. The day may come when you will witness a real armed insurrection, then you will know the difference.

Wow, so you double down on not understanding the reference.

Ashli Babbitt should not have died because the person in charge of Capital security should have made sure there were more than enough officers and national guard present to prevent any protester from even getting close to the Capital building.

Another classic example of how far the republican party has fallen...

Classic Republican: "You don't wanna get shot, don't break and enter"
Modern Republican: "You don't wanna get shot, it's the homeowners fault for not putting more locks on the door".

Ya'll are something else.

You do understand that a homeowner, and one of our MOST important federal buildings, are wildly different scenarios, right?

The average homeowner doesn't have armed security.

The US Capitol building has its own security, as well as the ability to call up other reinforcements, since, you know, it's an important place.

You do also know that the FBI had informants in the Proud Boys and was aware of the planned protest well before the date it happened, as well as had a good idea of the possible size of the protest.

We need to rename you stretchwombat.

I will be the first to say that J6 was stupid. I do think it was orchestrated by the left, but the participants acted stupidly.

That being said, while they like to show over and over, the idiots breaking the windows ( which I believe were plants ) , the vast majority went thru open doors, and were directed by the Capitol police.

This wasn’t someone breaking into a house in the middle of the night and getting shot.

Haha.....!  And George Floyd was a pillar of the community that should been memorialized, and the face of a charade movement that cause more pain and destruction merely for the sake of partisan politics.

I have no idea why you’re bringing him up. I’ve never mentioned him and this is a thread about J6.

Nice try but this thread is about the lack of information, i.e. COVER UP regarding the “pipe bomb” outside the DNC hq ON J6, not the activity at the capitol.

I couldn't agree more. This wasn't a group of people breaking into some random house; it was a group of people breaking into the fuuuuucking capital building during an already tense session of congress.

It's incredibly sad anyone died but no one forced anyone to go into the capital building and as my dad – a hardcore republican – loves to say, "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.".

I agree with your dad. And like I said , they were stupid.

But… you forgot to highlight where I said most were LET IN BY THE CAPITOL POLICE!!!

Add to that the fact that Trump requested that they bring in the Nation Guard ( proving he wanted to stage an insurrection, right )

This was set up and planned by Pelosi, wanting things to go bad. And the goofballs that happened to show up, played right along.

You’re right. She should not have died. POTUS 45 should not have instigated the riot and sent his people there. And he should have directed security to be much tighter. I know you may hear from right wing sources that Pelosi was in charge of all of that. But it’s simply not true. He used her and thousands of others as a pawn in his game. He does not give a shit about them. If he truly did, he’d have been sure to pardon them before he left office. Like he did to Steve Bannon for scamming millions of people out of the money they donated for what he claimed the border wall but really he just pocketed it all. They were all conned by a lifelong con man. All that said, at the end of the day, she is an adult and is responsible for her own actions. If a door is barricaded, police are pointing their guns at you and telling you not to enter, and you decide to barge through, expect to be shot.

So why did he offer the National Guard to Pelosi, and why did she not take up the offer?

The President is not in charge of security at the Capital building. I suppose you can understand why, right?

If you argue that she's an adult and responsible for her actions, shouldn't you argue the same with George Floyd? He lived a life where he knew what he was exposing himself to.

Again, that is all false. I’d love to know where you got that information. And once again, you cannot get a post in without mentioning Floyd. Who has absolutely zero to do with the J6 riots. If you want to talk about him, make a post and tag me in it.

Well, you did get one thing right, it was the capital police that rejected it, not Pelosi. I'm sure Pelosi has absolutely, positively no influence at all on the capital police.

Poor guy, didn’t know that Pelosi was in charge of the capitol police.

Also, must not know the meaning of the words PEACFULLY and PATRIOTICALLY.

I blame the education system. I’m sure he’s up on all of his pronouns.

edit:

it’s also apparent that he watches Madcow. And wouldn’t know the truth if it ran over him.

Also, meant to quote both posts.

No, he’s not capable.

He COMPLETELY LOST HIS SHIT when it was suggested that Jan 6th was just another political by-product “public protest” that got out of hand like so many others during that time period.

I would be on the team of play stupid games win stupid prizes. If these people you are referring to were rioting and breaking through a barricaded door with multiple guns pointed at them, and they decided to ignore officer’s orders and continue to break in, I would expect them to also get capped like the insurrectionist you are referring to. J6 was not even remotely peaceful. Laughable you would even say so.

I just watched the video. Whatever the hell they were doing sure isn't justified to get murdered over. Looks like even the idiots that were breaking the glass had no intention of harming the guards.

Mrs. Babbit had the freedom to take a calculated risk and the chips fell according to said calculation.

I often wonder what she'd say as to whether it was worth it or not.  I also wonder what her widower thinks in hindsight.
