As an undeserving yet thankful Christian, nothing about this affects my expression of gratitude for what Easter represents to me today, and everyday.

There are 365 days in a year and many of them have multiple holidays or days of recognition attached to them. Including a thing doesn’t mean you have to exclude another thing.
A quick search says there is a Homelessness Awareness Month, and a Homeless Persons Remembrance Day (12/21): https://www.samhsa.gov/newsroom/observances/homelessness-awareness-month
For what it’s worth, a higher than average percentage of trans people, including trans youth, are homeless.
Also FWIW, there is a high rate of mental illness among trans people. Whether or not you believe they are *all* mentally ill, I don’t understand why so many of you think it’s okay to make fun of them for that.

FYI, Muslims do believe that Jesus Christ was raised to Heaven by God. Their story differs a bit in that his enemies didn’t kill him first. More like some sort of trick was played on them so that it appeared Jesus was crucified, but was not. Whether that was a body double or some or bamboozlement is open to interpretation.
If you have separation of church and state … shouldn’t the government just ignore all religious holidays and go about it’s business ? How many different religious holidays does it need to avoid ? Which religions are included in the to be avoided or not lists ? Who decides ?
