Coming through Canada to the US is waaaay worse than coming in from any other part of the world.

I've almost missed flights a bunch of times because the jackholes at Vancouver airport were f-ing me about so much and I had my girlfriend turned back there once.

Inside the airport where you go through US immigration you're technically on US soil. Like an embassy in a foreign country.

Those assholes are relentless. I was in line to go through customs and discovered I'd forgotten my briefcase. They almost arrested me for talking on a cell phone trying to arrange to have my briefcase shipped out to arrive at my destination.

Honestly, when I went to New Orleans (we drove) with Habitat for Humanity to build for a week the U.S. agents kept us, at the border for TWELVE HOURS. They said by volunteering there we were taking jobs away from Americans... HAHAHA. And they made us sit in our vans (9 of them, which were all full, we were a big group) for TEN of those hours - wouldn't let us get out and walk around. We were finger printed, searched, the whole bit. It was pretty insulting actually. You're Welcome USA....
A busload of commies posing as VOLUNTEERS, that is the oldest trick in the book.

The Canadians hassled me once when coming to Canada to work at the Joseph Big Head reservation. They delayed me for quite a while as well.

Well, it is like this. Canadians are soft and liberal. They are soft on terrorism and they let Muslims move into Canada way to easily. Therefore, the US has to be super vigilant about letting anyone in through Canada, as they might be an Islamo Fascist terrorist, or even worse a commie.

SoCal has all the MX racers we will ever need in this country anyway.

This International immigration incident is going to put a new use to those free paper Toyota pit boards given out to the spectators in the pits to fill out with their own boiling over messages.

Televised no less, and filmed by every photographer attending --- The Internet is going to be good for this.

This could pose itself as possibly one of the largest anti-immigration rallies in one place. At Supercross and Texas no less!!!!!!

My question is this, if they knew his documentation was fucked up and had been working on it, why the fuck did they allow him to go to Canada in the first damn place?

No one is asking this.

I am willing to bet the fact is, no one was working on shit until this happened this week, because if there was any question he never should have been asked/told/allowed to go race the Canada round.

His agent/manager dropped the fucking ball on this and if I were Wilson, would be shopping for new (competent and prepared) representation ASAP.
either way he would miss one round.

Leave it to big government to get all "legal" on someone who is probably paying taxes here. It would be nice if the illegals got the same treatment. Go Big G.

On my way in I get the customary searches by US customs, they check the Motorhome and trailer, send an Agriculture officer on board and go through the fridge and cupboards, seize whatever food product is the item of the week etc. Notes for kids when both parents aren't present has been common for several years now, none of it is rocket science if you cross the border on a regular basis.

The sad thing in all this is if Dean had been less than honest and simply told the US Customs agent (once again he won't have any contact with a Canadian to leave the country) he was flying to Texas to visit he'd likely be there today.

I'm sure none of this could be the agents fault. MX agents are some of the most intelligent, well educated representation you could ever hope to hire.

This can't have anything to do with Canada Customs and Immigration. When leaving the country, you don't need to stop at the Canadian side of the border, just the US side. It says right in the report that he was having "work visa" issues. That visa would be US issued.

Either way, it REALLY sucks donkey balls. Wilson has the whole country behind him. It's not very often we have a rider come along that can race with the best in the US and for this to happen just as he was really getting up to speed is a real bummer.

The fire has already started! Many are saying, "Let's BLOW it up!!!!"

Come on Texas spectators, we're counting on you to CIVILLY speak your minds about this crap tonight in the stands, and represent the entire sport in a tough, yet positive manner.

Please behave yourselves in front of the cameras so we can see you on TV as free people -- We don't want to see squids acting stupid, or in handcuffs.

Exactly, and what does he have to lose anyhow, he's not in the title race, its his first season, he has a long future racing in the US, might as well do it right, right now.
he's third in points with half the season to go. it would be a longshot, but it is possible
