To be honest, I could give one rats ass about Pourcel. The guy has the same attitude as JMB did when he came over here. He does his OWN thing. Doesn't ride at the Kawi track like his other teamates do. He isn't really media friendly. He trys to punt Barcia in the stands any chance he gets. He is just another arrogant Frenchmen than can ride. Being an ass all the time is just ridiculous. Karma is a bitch. And coming out on the podium and just saying I am going to win next week shows his complete disrespect for everyone else in the class.

There have been plenty a Frenchman come over here and act and treat the other riders and teamates with respect. This guy seems to have it in his head we are greatful to see him over here and watch him ride. I am glad he didn't get hurt, but I was glad to see him on the gound shrinking that big ass head of his.

Damn. I hope you are kidding? If not I sincerely hope some part of you hesitated when you typed that crap? Otherwise you are pretty damn fucked up and the road to mental prosper pretty is out of reach...

Because sadly for you, his future looks VERY bright, he will probably continue beating the crap out of a lot of Americans on a weekly basis, drain some of that money of yours (what's left) and get the major players attention and admiration. At the same time in your fucked up micro cosmos he will give you finger and laugh...

So either you change, go for the ride, admire his talent and be amazed by his road from being paralyzed to a another championship, and he choosed to live at your place, not in Europe where we all want him back (I hope) or you will suffer...

Good luck.
His future may be bright, but that doesn't mean he has to snub everyone along the way. DV12, Grant Langston, Ernesto Fonseca, Greg Albertyn, Chad Reed etc...are all Foreigners who have come over here from abroad and won Championships and were FRIENDLY modest guys who let their riding speak for themselves. CP can ride for sure, but he is not very aproachable and has set himself up as an outsider. He doesn't have to be that way. If I had overcome some of the things he had, I would be the happiest rider out there. Thankful and greatful that I STILL could earn a comfortable living racing motorcycles and winning at the highest level. Not act as though I am better than everyone and more deserving than any other rider out there.

you jackholes, i posted this because i think highly of poorcel and never thought he'd ride/crash like a squid like he did there in the vid. he is very smooth and smart and rarely if ever makes mistakes like that one, it was a mental mistake and not under tons of pressure either, that's all.

A close friend of mine had the opportunity to observe Pourcel up close at Daytona. He wasn't a fan before, in fact a hater, but came away respecting the guy, saying he was "very good" with the fans, especially kids.

Says his girlie is a knockout too.

Bad wreck, glad he's okay. That reminded me a lot of Stewarts 05' at Phoenix. I think he'll win Dallas no doubt, unless something bad happens.

Ok, I'll give you that he's not winning any PR contest and the kid is an oddball for sure (I like different), but he would ended up as goofy if he would have been born in the US, Sweden or whatever. His behaviour is not typical french just because you sent some similarity with JMB.

My point and what troubles me is this "another frenchman" that just boost this allready destructive xenophobia seen every second post here on Vital. It's not helping France, and it's not helping Americans.

No, I was referring to Pourcel and JMB and some of the riding tactics of Eric Sorby. Like I said, DV12 and Roncada are cool as far as I am concerned. Nothing against France as a Country. Though, there are a few times I was snubbed while visiting Paris. Not everyone there likes Americans thats for sure.

The bait fell off the hook and they're still chasing after it...

CP will dominate the 450's. His style is unlike anyone elses and the only possible threat will be RV.

I like Christophe; however, he's stepped in the shit and needs to stay away from "That Kid".

If "That Kid" feels the need to pay Christophe 'back'...it could get ugly.

I'd rather see Pourcel and Wilson...Barcia, Stoupe...jus' race their asses off.

I dont get the connections. Sorby seems to have issues while racing when CP have no issues worth mentioning. Didn't RC had CP as a symbol for how Euros don't want to go that line? I have seen JB go after CP an CP retaliate? Either way there's a no brainer to mention country in this because so far nothing is connected. I have been to Paris as well and I agree there's a certain attitude, but I have been all over France and I can assure you Paris stands alone in this. CP is not from Paris. I don't blame you for having issues with CPs attitude, just this eagerness to connect him with other frenchies makes me doubt your objectiveness. Over and out.

I missed 3rd gear once. True story. Pourcel is one damn smooth racer and between him and the rest of the East 250 Class it's been one great weekly show. I don't see the arrogance in Pourcel. He's got some funny one liners for the tv crews. I'm rooting for Barcia because he was a local district 34 racer and had he not taken himself out in a race where he more than likely would have passed Pourcel he would be in the hunt for a SX Championship. The next race should be some of the best racing. Pourcel is consistant and should win the championship. Barcia is racing for wins and once he realizes that it is Pourcel who has more to fear in a bar to bar contact, he won't give Pourcel an inch of track space.
