Warning. Birmingham Gate Manager Wouldn’t let people through.

The manager is common day employee who isn't capable of making a decision or afraid for his job to make decision. I was told to stand here so I stand here  

I’m honestly surprised they still let people leave at all. I don’t think any other sporting event that stadiums have you can leave and come back. But what do I know, I can leave my couch and come back as needed for every part of the race😂

This whole thread is confusing, maybe due to comments being deleted.  It sounds like you got a re-entry wristband for fan fest which was in the convention center across the street, a different building than the stadium.  And then sounds like you tried to enter the stadium with the fan fest wristband rather than a race ticket or race re-entry wristband.  

No.  So usually they only have 1 gate open through out the day.  90 minutes before gate drop they open all the gates to ticketed guests.   They need to get all the re entry’s in through the re entry gate.   Once they cut that off they open all gates.
