Trump - I have a 1000 buck bet here

Edited Date/Time 10/27/2024 11:57am

A work colleague and myself have a bet going.

He reckons Biden will win and I have put my 1000 on the Trumpet.

Am I gonna lose my cash?

The bet started with a gourmet burger and after a little argument we upped the stakes to a 1000 (South African cash) which is fokol in dollars but is a lot here.

This is all gonna get down to who counts the votes.   The polling corruption is going to be off the charts this time and they have the entire Justice Dept & Media behind them to cover it all up.

Keep your powder dry folks.

I think this election is a lose/lose for America…as the extremes on both sides will not peacefully accept a loss…if Trump wins the left will make Jan 6th look like a child’s bday party…if Biden wins, we will have to deal with years of stolen election conspiracies…

"I don't know who is going to win.....but for sure somebody win." ~ Heikki Mikkola 78 USGP

Who knows who is filling out all those mail-in ballots that come in the middle of the night?

Start putting $125 a month off to the side now.

It will lessen the blow rather than taking the big hit in November.

Like I said,  with all the ballot crookery going on behind closed doors at 2am and the entire Federal Justice system at the ready to cover it all up.  (and there is more than enough proof to show they can and have done plenty of that) its a shoe in for you guys.

But this banana republic shit wont stand for long.   50% of the USA wont put up with this stuff forever.

Well, world leaders are starting to request meetings with Trump in anticipation that he will win, so there is that.

I put out one kitchen fire while I was working at a restaurant as a teenager, one garage fire a few years ago when I spotted my neighbors garage smoking, one when the dipshit drug dealer above my first apartment lit his carpet on fire (nice guy, just a total moron) and when one of the big SD fires came through town some 20 years ago I spent the day watering down all the land around my neighbors houses / the houses themselves when it became obvious the fire wasn't going to change directions and the fire department wasn't coming.

I can't confirm how many houses I / we (it was me and a few friends) saved because it's impossible to say, "because we did this we saved that" but shockingly no houses were lost despite the land looking like mars after the fire passed through. That said, all the neighbors and the fire department ended up thanking us for what we did. Afterwards I used the bike trails to sneak back into the neighborhood (the fire department wasn't letting anyone through at that time) and continued to put out fires near peoples houses until I started feeling like I was going to pass out from all the smoke. I ended up getting gnarly sick for about 2 weeks after that; coughing up a ton of black shit, constant migraines, throwing up, feeling like I was going to pass out a dozen times a day. Then I spent the summer rebuilding everyone's fences.

That was one of the craziest experiences of my life, sneaking back into the neighborhood right after the fire passed through. You couldn't see more than 10 - 15 feet in front of your face, walking on ash as deep as snow, having to half squint because of how hot the air still was, and hundreds of dead rabbits everywhere. The only thing that was giving off any light were the small pockets of bushes that were yet to fully burn away.

Your turn, which world leaders are setting up meetings with Trump?

Well props to you for being a good neighbor. Gotta take advantage of/ give help when help is needed, even if it's pairing up with a liberal wacko (not talking about you Wink). Point being, there are some things as good neighbors we do, some things are only able to be done by the government. Pretty sure most of us old codgers here have similar personalities/morals/standards whatever you want to call it that would go out of their way for others.

Side note, you go up to Mammoth?

Exactly. The left seems to conveniently forget all of the businesses that were boarding up their windows in 2020, weren't doing it because they were worried about Trump supporters if Biden won.

I'll let Boom give you his opinion of the South African leader.  He lives it.Blush

I think it's fairly well known that Hungary has some serious leadership problems caused by old Victor.

Put it this way... neither of them make good "character witnesses".Wink

I'm in a very chilled mood today Plowboy and my work is running smooth as butter here. The last thing I need now is to whind myself up bitching about the corruption and dangers we face in the arsehole of Africa.

My head is still attached to my body so that's a good thing. Woohoo

I don't really know which thread to post this to but here goes...

I can't blame the people desperately wanting to come to the USA...be it legal or illegal.

I graft my fucking bullocks off here in South Africa just to pay rent and eat....

If I put in the same effort in the USA as I do here, I could pay a mortgage, eat and most likely could afford to race Vets class on the weekends.

My oldest daughter is 20 and in 20 yrs we have probably eating out in a restaurant about 5 times...makes me feel really shit but that's how it goes here.

I tried to do the immigration process the right way but it sucked me dry financially.

Now back to Trump...I support him because he will sort your borders out quickly. It pisses me off to see people cruising into the USA under the Biden administration...bused in, flown in to sanctuary cities...they get given help financially....given accommodation..that fucking pisses me off.

Is it because I'm a white South African and that means I have to cough up $$$$ for immigration attorneys to do it the right way???

Fuck Biden and all those democratic cunts.

The USA has always been difficult to immigrate to if one hasn't got funds.

I'm really pissed of to see thousands cross your borders everyday....and Trump will stop it...therefore he will get my support.

Needless to say, I'm stuck in South Africa working to live..or living to work...no toys, no anything but just get up and work. Thankfully though, when the non whites come to take everything we have, I won't sweat much as I have fuckall.

All I have to worry about is my lady, my two girls and my animals.

I'm getting depressed....when I was wrenching in the US, I was earning enough to send money home to cover all the household expenses, school fees...everything..and I'd have enough left over to buy clothes, eat out and buy shit that I'd never be able to buy here.

I say this with the deepest respect to you all, even though you may think shit is expensive there, your cost of living etc...you guys really have it good.

You guys live in a 1st world country.

I'm turning 54 soon and I gotta to keep working until I drop. After that I'm homeless...

Care to explain what the common thread is in those major cities that makes you scared to be there?
