I remember one at the Corona GP and you could hear it a mile away. I also remember asking my dad why that dude is riding a street bike :D

I had one of those in 84. Richard Burdette who had wrenched for Billy Liles and Danny Storebeck cut out a small section of the pipe and modified the power valve. Charged me about $25 and the thing really came alive. Pulled lots of holeshots with that one.

That was the bike Yamaha started to use the long rod kit it in it has a spacer plate under the cyl.It was fast..

The long rod makes the YZ250 square motor run pretty strong. I still get holeshots every now and then against the 450cc. Here is mine.

Forgot I had this, I loved those Corona GP's, they were a ton of fun.
