Deegan penalty warning from Arlington, but not Jett or Sexton last year?

To be clear to whoever titled this thread and Vital at large:

Ain't nobody received a penalty

Deegs received a (completely penalty-free) warning, which you may or may not get before a penalty. Preferably, you will actually get a fair warning, in which case Deegs is actually ahead of Jett/Sexton/whoever, not behind.

I know it was a written warning. But its just showing how ridiculous the AMA is for even writing a petty warning. When other guys do it every year and they don't say a thing.

What if those guys got a penalty next race? In that case, this rider has been given preferential treatment with the warning.

Or how about the simpler answer: more communication (including warnings prior to penalties) is the better solution.

Got it. So there is reason now to communicate a warning prior to a penalty, unlike before (when the season was already over and no penalty would be later rendered). That makes it abundantly clear and I appreciate the officials doing it.

Probably should have warned those past last race cases (even though the season had already ended, and accordingly I can see why they let just a warning go), but late is better than never.

are we sure it was for the "ghost ride" and not for absolutely trashing forkner on the podium while the guy was still down and out hard? To me one seemed more worthy of a code of conduct warning than the other

He didn't trash forkner at all.

He had respectful comments for him.

Then started talking like he was in the wwe. But it was aimed at forkner.

Because a warning could have some meaningful effect, unlike the previous two cases which were after the seasons had ended?

Hopefully you find a safe space to cry.

It was weak.  His Dad did it over the finish line.  If he was going to do it, should have done it right.

Lol.  Good point.  The new generation may not be as tough.....  BUT, they are probably smarter.   Smile
