Threatening skies and giant smoke rings during opening ceremonies in San Diego.

Still pretty chilly 'round these parts.
But after a week of single, and negative degrees, 28° outside feels like a heat wave.
This is a self taken shot by my niece. She's overcome all sorts of medical adversities (she's confined to a wheelchair) to make it to university and is studying photography.

Rode down to San Onofre trails after work today. Lots of ruts and washouts. There's 2 big Ravens that live at trail 6, Fred and Wilma. Surveying the damage form the top of the bluff.
The water always wins
ozberg, “The kayak bridge” hahaha that’s awesome I like it ! The rains this year messed up a lot of our local trails but the guys who build and maintain them have been busy doing repair work and building new features thanks to the soft dirt. Check out this “over under” You go over the bridge, around the right hand berm and back under the bridge down the hill. I haven’t ridden it yet cause it’s still under repair but it’s pretty cool ! 😛

I have not re-done my gardens since the hurricane and still trying to set up my farm to move there full time but about 20 of these popped up and full of fruit mostly from seeds that sprout in tortoise poop which seems to be the best seed starter there is as there is always all types of fruits and veggies sprouting out of it.
From your side of the Cascades or mine Reese, we are blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Nice picture, I am sure you enjoyed your bike ride and the sunshine.

When you’re at the bar with your wife and a girl walks over and puts her butt 6” from your nose, don’t look..... don’t look.......
Right up there with, last Christmas she walks in and says,

And you realize at that moment that the 5th amendment is your friend.
Saw this elsewhere..... Neat pic and story behind the scene...
The young Billy Reddon who played the hillbilly banjo player Lonnie in Deliverance could not play the instrument himself, and while the music was dubbed onto the soundtrack, Reddon's picking and fingering looked unconvincing. So an even younger local banjo ace, Mike Addis, was recruited to crouch behind him and do the playing through false coat sleeves. It was necessary to find a child musician who could be concealed behind Reddon's chair. At the back is an unidentified crew member who steadies Addis to make sure he stays out of shot.
"Sorry man, we already have a drummer"
A herpetologist in Texas has discovered a species of rattlesnake evolving in order to blend in with bluebonnet fields.
Copperheads around here do the same. Changing from bright orange in leaf littered areas, to sandy gray as the terrain dictates.
Amazing how freakin' good the sunrises are looking out the back window...
