VARIABLE ONE-EAR CLAMP REMOVAL

Somehow and someway I sprung a super fine crack on the plastic connection! Can you believe that tiny piece of plastic is $50?!?!?

I just grab the ear with a pair of dykes and cut it off

I will be doing that thank you. Good thing when I ordered that coupling, I ordered a new clamp to go along with it. I don't remember these type of clamps on my CRF?

Everyone around here calls those  "Oetiker clamps" or "Oetiker style clamps".

There are plenty of industrial supply houses (like McMaster Carr) who sell those clamps and replacement QD fittings.
