Jett was waiting after the line and looking back at Anderson.  Anderson wasn't even looking at Jett until he saw him after he finished giving a fist bump to a rider on a red bike, then he see's Jett.

Jett then gestures at Anderson who rides over wanting to know what the issue was.

If Jett had of gone back to his pits nothing would likely have happened.

 

Edit:  I'm a Jett fan boy but not going to straight up ignore facts.
