Look at Jason's history with Malcom . And perhaps they know what both guys said to each other. I'm sure Honda ,everybody and their brother said similar things to Jett .  I don't remember what started the feud between him and Malcolm.  But Jason kept that going long enough to impact both their seasons that year. Perhaps Kawasaki management saw signs of something similar? Or just wanted to put it out there that they do not condone what either racer did last week. Might have been as simple as the TV guys asking for statements and only Kawasaki gave them one. Or perhaps since Monster is a tile sponsor of both the series,the rider and team. Perhaps Monster wanted them to put out a statement. 

When the thing with Malcolm was going on, I remember hearing that the Kawasaki guys wanted Jason to get fined because he was doing so much damage to his season.  I think Mathis was the guy saying that he had heard, or been told by Kawasaki team members that they were for the fines. 

Whatever the reason, I do hope both guys forget what happened and move on. Way way blown out of proportion.
