IMG 2562Having an issue connecting to the ecu on my 2019 rmz-250.   Anyone have a similar issue and get it resolved?

Only 20+ will work with it I believe. Could probably buy a 20+ ecm to make it work, but you’d probably have to check with a Suzuki dealer to know for sure.

Says on the box 2019+ for the 250 but 2020 for the 450.  I guess I’ll reach out to Suzuki support and see what they say.

Same #’s on mine too.  I called a Suzuki dealer they weren’t sure without looking at the bike.  They also said the Suzuki tech line is down till 02/02.  Suzuki corporate took the vin # and said it would work with the tuner.  Besides buying a newer ecu and trying it not too sure what to do.

I had the same thing happen recently on the newest version of the app. Luckily I had an old phone with an older version of the app and it connected no problem. I informed an employee at Get of the issue a while back and was told he would pass it on to the guys in Europe but haven't heard back yet.

I have it working on the 2019 250 so that is not your issue.

Wow that’s crazy must be a glitch in the update or something.   I’ll reach out to Get.  Thanks man!

It seems it's linked to the old Suzuki ECM installed in the first RMZ250 2019 bikes. The message prompts users to reach out to a Suzuki dealer to replace the ECU. When we were developing the app, Suzuki had already sold some bikes with updated firmware, hence the discrepancy. From what I gather, dealers should have received a technical bulletin on this and should be replacing the ECU (or ECM, as Suzuki calls it) free of charge, resolving the issue. Hope that clears things up.

Thanks again for the info!  Hopefully the local dealer can get it swapped out.
