"Midnite_MX, I think Milsaps should definately fire his trainer and hire you. He coulda been winning all along..." Thats what i tried to tell him when i met him a couple of years ago. damn kids never listen. but seriously you can debate this till the cows come home, but i know better, its all in technique, stay loose and breathe, thats all it takes to alleviate arm pump.

found your t-shirt at the track...

Armpump comes from holding the bike with your arms and not your legs, ive never had a single case of armpump in my life and ive raced outdoors for years. if you grip the bike with your inner thighs and ride on the balls of your feet the bike will do the rest. just remember creatine may or may not be good for you but the bulkier you are, the better your muscular structure the less prone you are to injuries from being thrown, but the down size is more weight for the bike to haul around
Oh geez, and you don't think the son of the owner of MTF knows that already!!! WOW, just WOW, lol...

oh and about the creatine, i do know that when i experimented using it years ago i got arm pump and stopped it, coul this have been a fluke coincidence? i don't know but i didn't care to keep taking it to find out...

Have you ever watched Davi ride? He grips the bike more than any other rider out there maybe short of Pourcel.....He routinely goes around corners standing with his feet on the pegs. I am sure he is gripping the bike. Its a mental thing....If he believes its the creatine and he didn't get armpump that day,///// then it works...If he jerked off three times before the main and didn't get arm pump then that would be the cure too.......Its a mental thing and if it works it works........

1st sure, CONGRATS to Davi.........

But come on people, beating up on Stanton's

reputation.......Gimme a break!

Sure his statements at times aren't golden but

for a Multi-time guy, he's human & he's entitled.

Sure even if it's a fellow teamster, he has that right.

I feel it goes with his position on the team, &

frankly if the guy or guys on the other side of his

rants don't like it, then change it up some & disprove

the rants. Past Champions aren't allowed to be

disrespectful, but then again, at one time or another they

too may have been criticized for similar doings.

Relax, if ya can't stand the heat, leave............

Let's see what "creatine free Davi" does next!!!!!!

Hopefully there's more to come.........

Maybe Stanton's comments were Davi's motivation for San Diego.

What happens at A3 if Davi falls off the pace with a mysterious ailment? Armpump? Will they call it something else? Or will he ride more relaxed because now he has won?Or will he ride more tense, because now he has won?Tongue

I can go out and ride at !00% and get armpump. Back it off to 90% and the pump goes away. Riding more fluidly, relaxed, breathing and keeping my hands relaxed changes everything.

Also just having fun and taking smooth arcing lines while not worrying about blistering speed usually ends with shorter lap times and using less energy and no death grip. Time on the bike and relaxing as you breathe seems to be the key for me. I suffered with Arm pump terribly as a kid up thru 18 when I quit racing. Now at 47,I rarely get forearm pump.

catman,

Dungey and Poto will stay on two wheels and I am not faster than hill, so fourth place for me.

Come by my pits for an autograph and free jersey.

Can you make it the Dallas round?
I won't be able to make to A3.

Surely you can put Hill in the cheap seats for a podium spot.
