Hard to believe that nobody, not even WP, makes a decent tool for working on one of the premium fork offerings out there. WP makes one, but it doesn't work well. I built a full perimeter, fully billet spanner wrench for Gen 3 WP 48mm cone valve forks with the small grooves in the seal holder. Get stuck seal holders broken free with ease and properly torqued during reassembly. Click HERE for the link to my newly built ecommerce siteIMG 7492.

If you are ever working on something and it's a way bigger pain in the ass than it aught to be, dont hesitate to reach out, we can solve that problem Smile

That's really cool. I watched the cones being serviced on youtube and I've never seen that seal setup before. Of course, it always takes forever to chase down the tools for wp stuff.

No retail options for 26mmshaft blocks to service the 6500 cartridges yet,  but i was lucky to get a custom set.

Racetech do the tool to unscrew the base valve

Ask and ye shall receive. 26mm (and 27.3mm for the new closed chamber) cartridge clamp block. Twice as tall as any other option for more surface area/grip and less vise pressure required for holding. Link Here

I can vouch for Mike at Dejamoto. He's got some great tools and is always thinking outside the box. We've collaborated on some ideas and we are always geeking out on suspension related topic on the KTMtalk suspension group on facebook. If you want to expand you knowledge or just get informed on the newest stuff for WP you won't find a better resource than that page if you are on FB.
