I've heard plenty of people saying jett would not be so great with ET, CS...etc this year. Just haters, more fuel for the fire, I say.
I see it here mostly. People may not be coming right out and saying that exactly, but they sure make lots of excuses and downplay what he's accomplishing.
He is probably tired of all the people trying to discredit the kid to. He went 22-0 and all he get to hear is that it was a weak field.
and then it was ”wait until sx, it’s then the real test starts”, after he won the SMX. And then SX came, and he spanked all of them at his first try. So i get Dazzys side of it.
The question though, is he wrong? Go back to Keefer and Matthes getting to ride the HRC bikes. They said Chase's bike was hard to ride and would punish mistakes. Keefer claimed Jett's bike was the best factory bike he's ever ridden.

I think part of their success is they let the unfortunate stuff roll off their sleeve. Prob not a bad thing Hunter didn’t qualify after hearing about the lump on his head and headache.
I haven’t read anything saying he isn’t great. Saying he’s not going to win every main doesn’t mean he isn’t great.
Then you really haven't read many comment sections. I'm not going to go back and save images for you. There were plenty just from last night. Many over the past season about 'depleted field' and things will be different when he has to race a healthy group. It's a weird cult of hate for the kid.
One off the top of my head was after Jett going down during the heat on FB. Guy said something like, that's what happens when you think you're better than you are. Of course the comments got much quieter after the win posts.

I don’t think anyone could say he’s not great. I think what everyone might be getting tired of the tv/media shoving it down our throats 40minutes of every hour televised. If h stays healthy he will go down as one of the greats in the sport.
Sooooo many people in comment sections down played his 450 mx title because of the weak field.
Don't be too cocky with the SX god because he can be a big bitch m-f.
But they’re not shoving him down “OUR” throats !! They’re using him as a promotion tool to try and GROW this sport that we all love so much. It’s a good thing !! Yes we see it every week and a lot of guys get over it but it’s about the random people seeing it for the first time and getting intrigued and wanting to watch next week !!! That’s why they do it. Please realise that and have that in ya mind when you’re getting over it watching on a Saturday/Sunday
I get your from New Zealand and prob a super fan. In no way am I bashing the brothers,they are good,really good but for gods sake there other other riders/teams that they can talk about. I mean beta entered sx and I don’t hear anything about that. That’s huge for a new manufacture to enter sx racing. Yes I get there trying to promote the sport, there are also other headlines and news to go after. I’m just saying from my prospective, it’s a bit much and tiresome.

I don't read comment sections on social media and I would advise the father of a professional athlete not to either. The coverage he receives from the moto media and even the comments here at Vital are overwhelmingly positive when it comes to his talent. Suggesting it will be harder to win with Tomac instead of without him is not a slight, there's no reason to manufacture disrespect.
Over this last year of racing, I recall PLENTY of commentary where-by PLENTY of arm-chair racers were saying…
He didn’t have to race against Tomac…etc.
The field is depleted.
Wait until he has to race all the fast guys in SX.
Well, here we are: he raced against the ENTIRE FIELD of SX racers. He smoked’em. And then he had a donut…
Therefore, after all the nay-saying and all the what-ifs…his pops is right.
I’m stoked for him. At the same time, and just like Johnny O is gonna tell him,”Great race. Congrats! Let’s get to work. It’s a long season.”
A1 2024 is in the books. Now, everyone’s shaken off the cob-webs, gotten over the A1 nerves…and knows what they’ve got to do.

Wow! Dazzy droppin the Yes! MotherFer Jett is that great bomb, apparently he didn't appreciate the weak field BS that was being spewed last year.
But a lot of people do read the comments. Guess that’s why you aren’t in the “know” of how many people bag on this kid. Hey, everyone hated Ricky when he started taking over too!! Times will change I guess. There’s an Athlete called Dan Carter from here in New Zealand. Arguably the GOAT of Rugby. I hated him when he first came on the scene. He was pretty and had silky skills like no one before him. Traditional Rugby was about Been Rough and tough with cauliflower ears and a broken nose. Dan Carter brought in a new look ! He wasn’t the first but had the biggest impact on the game for that new style of player. Perhaps Jett is our Dan Carter !!

Instagram and Youtube are far bigger than vital and show the broader perspectives of actual fans like it or not. Not that vital is any better quality wise but if you're somehow blind to it here then just take a few seconds to look at IG or YT comments.
