He's a solid rider, and probably should have a decent ride on a 450. But he's excluded himself from riding a Suzuki, which means a seat like HEP is not an option. His 2019 rookie season with Kawasaki was good, but he got punted for Adam and ever since then he's had a pretty massive chip on his shoulder, IMO. Getting injured in Australia on JGR was really bad timing, as he was invisible in a weird time through COVID in 2020. I think he's funny a lot of time, but the whole thing about getting his point-out reversed....he needs to let it go.

To his credit his employer doesn't have a 450 to race in '24. His contract situation hasn't been very stable the last few years, so the security of a 2 year deal with a legit team had to sound better than another year of hoping for a fill-in ride or wonky WSX as a backup. Even if it meant no SX and 250 MX in '24. Not to mention there is a Hooters in nearby Macon. lol

Winners win. That’s a simple mindset Joey doesn’t have. He doesn’t do what it takes to win, and he’s not willing to. If he was, he wouldn’t show up to the last round of WSX with the points lead expecting to lose, which he said himself he was. He brings a losing mindset into whatever class he races, on whatever bike he’s racing. I don’t get why racing 250 SX on a Triumph would change that.

It's not up to Joey, the team will decide where they want their bike raced and debuted. I believe he'll give the 450 class a go later in the year when the team is racing 250 East and the 450 class has less depth.

Kawi blew it big time on AC....that's been a bust.      I like AC, great guy, but he is Mr Glass.

He was told to do it on Pulp live and said no he would not do it and has been mentioned 200 times since in his comments and replies. He’s just looking for attention and it’s not going to happen

AC has given Kawi more publicity and eyeballs than Savatagy ever could. They’d much rather have the most personable rider in the sport that can lead laps and qualify well than a 5th place guy who looks miserable all the time

Not a total bust. AC is the 2019 250 MX Champion.

I know some purists think only the top three guys are worthy of manufacturers' investment, but AC is a past champion, has a huge fan base (723k followers on IG), is well spoken and very well liked, and has better speed than all but a very small handful of people on planet earth.  Yet he's a "bust".  SMH......

What's more amazing on Vital is some people just don't like a certain individual. Get over it and move on it if everybody is not a fan boy of the guy.
