What's the scoop with Cole Thompson? Is he looking for a ride outside of Canada?
He's racing the 2024 Supercross series for the Heartbeat Hot Sauce Yamaha team.
After that, I suppose he'll look to continue racing WSX and AUS SX like he did this year.
Nice. Thank you for the intel.

Curious to know what you guys think of the series being 8 rounds.
I think it should be 10, and they should ditch the AX/SX series portion. The best riders don't want to do it.
no one wants it - I agree, bring back TGO's only.
Does anyone know what the schedules like. I’m not really interested in the AX/SX. 8 rounds in my opinion isn’t really an outdoors championship in my opinion
3 rounds West, and 5 East.
East is the same. Deschambault, Sand Del Lee, Riverglade, Gopher Dunes, Walton.
Calgary, Lethbridge, and Pilot Mound.
Well looks like I’ll be making the 6hr journey to Calgary lol
Race Driven KTM, soon to be named Northwoods KTM. They are helping me out with 24 KTM 350. So I will do 450 class again. They are a personal sponsor that I will take with me to Coastal Moto
5 AX/SX Rounds for young riders who are interested in going state side isn't a bad idea but then it needs to be spot on with location, track layout and build and money. Because if you can't make a dime you better let them race European AX/SX races for a few extra bucks.
Honestly it would be cool to do an international supercross futures series to get multiple nationality’s involved with their licenses and get the publicity that supercross gets. Just a thought
Personally I like the SX/AX, but I think Mx should be longer. That’s the big attraction.
That’s a monumental undertaking that would hardly benefit anyone. Nobody wants to watch amateurs on a 1/4 difficulty SX track.
Full 12+ round series, 250 class east and west. Absolutely no AX/SX. Someone call Monster Energy.
I’ve been rewatching most old races on YouTube from GuaranteedMX. This is the way.

Love it!
That exhaust is getting me peppered up
Benek's exhaust?
It's a Canadian company.
RP Race Performance. Ex-Pro Canadian 7x National ATV Champion Richard Pelchat's company.
They also sponsor the HBI Kawasaki Team.

Billet throttle body.
I agree more than 8 rnds & ditch the ax,sx as a part of the points. The outdoor tracks are Great along with the racing. When does the schedule come out ?
Next week.
Micha-Boy de Waal is free, after his team stopped because his teamowners is ill. Great opportunity for a Canadian team.
Good ride for Benek at A1!
Those Exhausts are cool, but way too loud. He had to put a PC on for Tech.
Zach Ufimzeff is racing in Germany this weekend for the Meyer Yamaha Team.
He's racing 450.
Race is starting now.
From Direct Motocross
1. We’ve heard the western swing of the Canadian Triple Crown Series MX Nationals may not make it into BC this summer. We’ve also heard that things may change before we see the official schedule due to be released on January 15th. We’ll have to wait and see.
2. Parts Canada not supporting a team in 2024? If so, when was the last time that happened? Some time in the 1990’s maybe??? They supported the Thor GasGas team in 2023 but it no longer exists. They did pick up a couple brands we do some work with, though – Muc-Off and Scott Goggles.
3. With both GasGas Canada teams closing their doors, how will the brand be represented at our races in 2024?
4. No Manluk Racing team for 2024?
Speaking of Zach, we’re hearing the unfortunate news that we’re losing yet another full team heading into 2024.
We haven’t been able to confirm with team owner Frank Lubke so we don’t want to say it’s 100% just yet, but that means we’d lose 3 teams heading into 2024 – TLD SSR GasGas, Thor GasGas, and Manluk. As I said a few lines up, sometimes, I fear for our sport here in Canada. We’re losing teams but gaining podcasters!
Parts Canada Rant
Parts Canada has always been a joke in my opinion, particularly given the above comment if that turns out to be true (not supporting any team in Canada for 2024). Look back in the history of Canadian moto. They chase the coat tails of something, then dump it, then are back in a few years later. Zero stability. Some will argue the sports lacks stability yet there are market players in it year after year.
It's bad decision after bad decision in the Canadian Moto space for Parts Canada. They pull all their funding from two stable platforms in 2023 KTM ($100,000 CAD) and Kawasaki ($100,000 CAD) and dump (approx $200,000 CAD) into a team in their second year of business (Thor/GasGas). Look where that got them.
We provide them with immense support at the dealer level and it's hard to get a Parts Canada account, yet at the sponsorship/corporate level, it's a string of broken promises and bad decisions.
